Hi, I know I may be disturbing you by asking silly questions but if you don't mind should I buy a camera or upgrade my smartphone and use it to make videos for UA-cam like for real-estate and vlogging as well as photography. And if so please tell me which smartphone to buy as an upgrade with gear or which camera to buy with gear. I can afford up to $1000 but I can stretch for gear which I don't have to upgrade for a very long time.( I use Android phone my upgrade choice was Samsung s23 with a gimble and anamorphic lens but I am also confused with apple iPhone). (and for camera Canon R50 but I don't know any gear so please help) and also which mic to use and literally everything....
I forgot to say this but my current smartphone is also good in camera its Samsung galaxy A70 it clicks very good videos in daylight so should i invest in the gear like gimbal, anamorphic lens, mic and filters 😅 please tell......

I'm not too sure about phones but if you need a beginner camera the
canon r50 and sony zve-10 with the kit lenses are good choices.
I have a Sony z90 do you think that's halfway decent for me to try to get something on Netflix that I do

Loving it so far. It's all around amazing for videography. Still getting used to color grading it but even that is going pretty smooth so far. The stabilization is on another level. Looks gimbal like while walking. Easily the best value camera out there for video.

How did you get on Netflix in the first place where is your video on that? Did you have to go through aggregator if so which one? Or how did you bypass? What is your advice for uploading to OTT and what aggregators and or how to do so without them?
I think you mis-understood. I'm not on netflix. I was just saying that there are films on there even shot with an iphone so the camera doesn't matter. The only time it matters is if they hire you but if you are selling something to the it could have been shot on anything.

@Fulaan Creative no joke, I have an old K5 which I mean isn't what I want for stills... but it works.. and I have some equipment that will work including a cell. No storyboarding or scripts written and here I am like oh shit I gotta spend 3.5 to 5k today to even get started..... the r6mkii is gonna be the A cam and my other cams are gonna be the B and C. I gotta write at least 5-10 scripts and record 5 of them before dropping them duckets

Fulaan, what you said in this vid makes total sense; but I am just hoping its 100% legit. Me and my close friend have always been saying that what we are hearing makes no sense. I own a GH5 and he owns a GH6, and these cameras produce more than efficient footage for film creation, and so we are totally confused as to why we cant create films for Netflix with them. it just did not make any sense to us. At this point, after watching your video, I'm now going to triple my effort to get to the root of the matter. Thank you for this revelation and I really hope that you are on point with your info.
