Oleta - Miami | Coconut Cup #5 2023-24 MTB Race | Tight trails

Perfect start on a long straightaway, typical of Oleta Coconut Cup races. Twisty turns, rooty, and tight corners are the trademarks of Oleta River State Park trails in Miami. A little distraction cost me a few spots on the second (out of 3) long fire road on the race course, through the so-called Cabin Loop. Caught up but after several mistakes, including a couple of crashes, crossed the finish line only 30 seconds from 2nd and 3rd positions.
This video is only the 1st lap out of two on the XC-3 (Base) category.

I don’t know how you a race there, it’s not marked well. That’s the worst purse I’ve ever seen and Iused to ride there 20+yrs ago!!

Yea it's pretty easy to get lost. I did get lost in last year's race lol
