    There are actually 24 fittings
    Pull the front passenger seat, and access covers to get to the the drive lines just in front and back of the transmission.
    You should find each drive shaft has two grease fittings.

      Roger that, I think your referring to the U-joint at 1:42 in the video, and in hindsight yes it would be much easier to get too from the top by pulling that plastic piece, and I have found out since I posted this video that you are correct again with that middle U-Joint having two zerks. I have been doing those two the hard way from the bottom until someone commented on our commander grease video that you can easily get to them when we do an oil change. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave additional info in the comments, Cheers

      Glad your finding them helpful, that's definitely the goal with the videos to help ya'll save a little time and money. Having the correct number of beers on hand is definitely a must for me if I'm going to be doing any sort of tedious maintenance job so I'm glad I'm not the only one. How did you get to the back 2 zerks on the joints on drive shaft from transmission to the rear wheel gear drive. Seems like only way is to remove the rear skid plate?

    Could you tell me how many grease fittings are on Can Am Maverick X3 XDS? Is there grease fittings on the carrier bearings and /or drive shaft?

As soon as I get my hands on one I'll make a bunch of maintenance vids, but I've never had one and am not sure. but thanks for watching and hopefully someone with an x3 or who has worked on them will see this and comment, but until I get access to one check around youtube and the x3 forum's I'm sure someone else has made vids, Cheers

      I am honestly not sure, hopefully someone reads this with more experience with that issue and will share a solution. Maybe a fuse?

      You may have a fuse blown or a loose wire somewhere you, should find all of your electrical points and DIY electric grease them helps with any moisture corrosion 🤙

    Great video. Can you show how to grease a 2018 Can Am Outlander XT? Mine is squeaking so bad its started to get on my nerves. I fill like I'm going to mess it up by not addressing this.

      ua-cam.com/video/RZeVv__UpsI/v-deo.html Here is a video I did on a 2015 XMR Outlander if you havn't seen it
      should be pretty similar to your 2018?
      Grease should definitely help or eliminate squeaks
      thanks and let us know how it goes

    When you grease the rear sway bars, does grease come out anywhere? I greased my sway bars a lot and didn't see any grease come out.

      hmm that's a great question I don't quite remember and I sold that machine a while back so I can't run out to yard and check. Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this one, but thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a good question in the comments. Cheers

      haha it'd be great if I had a RZR turbo S! but in several years when they are a little more affordable hopefully we'll get one in and will definitely do a grease video. Thanks for watching and commenting, Cheers

    How do you know when the fittings are full of grease? (New to this)

    • @EscapePowerSports
      @EscapePowerSports  3 роки тому

      I go until I see fresh grease coming out of the fittings, but as others have pointed out it might be best to stop as soon it feels a little harder to press before it comes out of the bushings. I would try and reference a service manual if possible and see what it suggests, but either method you use is a substantial improvement over no new grease at all. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, and for taking the time to leave a really good question in the comments. Cheers

    Can you show better where the ujoint zerks are located. Thx

    • @EscapePowerSports
      @EscapePowerSports  Рік тому

      that is a great question and next time I get my hands on one of those machines I will. I've been told they are much easier to access from the top through the passenger side panel like when your doing an oil change. Hope this helps and thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a good question in the comments. Cheers
