He got mad at that $800 fee for 2 days. His ego told him not to pay it and do smth insane instead. If the dealership doesn't want that car just like that, they won't. All of this even though Skylar made a bargain, that would make Saul Goodman himself proud- merely leasing such a car for ~$17/h instead of paying for it all and having to dispose of it, because of the imminent money trail it would leave, which DEA could use.
Saul asks about it after. He says "what is it Fring?" to which Walt responds "he will see me dead". I see it as basically a side effect of being boxed into a corner and being made to feel small because of Gus. Throughout S4 he is constantly being made to feel unimportant, weak, etc. by Gus and his operation and he constantly does things lashing out, impulsively, etc. This is also pretty similar in nature to when he first finds out he has cancer and starts doing crazy things because hes gonna be dead soon so why not. Its not really any one specific thing that makes him do these things or act this way. Easy answer is Walt is just a bit of a reckless idiot lol. It was fun, hes already a dead man as he sees it, hes taking back a form of control (since he cant get that feeling from the operation any more and probably felt like if the car dealers were gonna be difficult about it hes just gonna do whatever he wants), etc.
Multimillionaire at this point and gets upset at 800 dollar fee and tipping the washer
What a cheap bastard!!😂
his pride and ego wouldn't let them off with a mere $800, heisenberg's agenda is very complicated like that
Walt's actually a pretty good tipper, if I recall correctly
Walt’s ego was always his biggest enemy.
It also wouldn’t have taken him as far without it.
@@cerovk6000 Like most drug dealers, its beside the point, if you go down, because you didn't know when to quit.

It's funny that Walt is pissed of $800 return fee, having a pile of money bigger than the car itself.
Perfect, I love that stylish wording XD
If he didn't do it I'm sure the Dodge would've blown itself up before 50k miles anyway.

dude the smile on the washer's face is so unbearably cute and funny to me at the same time, he was so proud of how he did.
Yeah Washer is a pretty cool character but personally I like Dryer a bit more.
Everytime when you have something cool and your dad borrows it that from you, it ends like this.
I can never forgive Walt for that, that poor Challenger.
I like how he used his knowledge of chemistry to light the car with only simple, everyday objects
😂😂😂
I don't think you need knowledge of chemistry to know flame + gas = explosion

Someone really needs to turn Breaking Bad into a video game.
They have. It's called Grand Theft Auto.
Never forget seeing a this clip on social media, ended up watching the whole series at 12-13 years old, had no business watching this show😂

The new Challenger didn't have a cigarette lighter and Walter didn't smoke!
I think cars dont explode like this even if the gas get fire
not enough air in gas tank to support combustion. too much gas fumes not enough air in the tank
Walt: How long do you think they'll take.
Car blows up.

My favorite scene was when Walt completely destroyed the life of everyone around him. I was like, “Nice move, Walt”
