Chicken Liver Treats:
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chicken liver
-1 cup canned pumpkin puree
-1/2 cup peanut butter
-1/2 cup hot water
-1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-2 large eggs
-2 cups whole wheat flour
Directions:
- preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.
-Cut the liver in bite size pieces
-In a large bowl add the egg and give a good whisk. Add the pumpkin puree, peanut butter, hot water, liver, cinnamon and give a good mix. Then slowing mix in flour a little at a time. Give a good stir until everything is well incorporated.
- Add rounded tablepsoons of dough on baking sheet. Make sure to leave 1/2 inch spaces between each treat.
- Bake them for 15-20 minutes until slightly hardened
* Allow treats to fully cool before giving to your pup.
Beef Liver Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
-1/4 cup chopped beef liver
-1 cup quick cooking grits
-1/4 cup wheat germ
-2 large eggs
-1/4 cup unsalted chicken broth
-2 cups whole wheat flour
Directions
- Cook the quick grits according to their instructions and set to the side to cool.
- preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.
-Cut the liver in bite size pieces
-In a large bowl add the egg, cooled grits, liver, wheat germ, broth and give a good mix. Slowly add the flour in giving a good mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Add rounded tablepsoons of dough on baking sheet. Make sure to leave 1/2 inch spaces between each treat.
- Bake them for 15-20 minutes until slightly hardened
* Allow treats to fully cool before giving to your pup.
TREAT STORAGE
Store treats in an airtight container on your counter for 3-4 days. Store in fridge for up to 7 days. I store extra in the freezer in an airtight container or freezer bag for up tp 3 months.

How many trees do you give your dogs per day. How many dog treats do you give your dogs per pound. And how many cups of homemade dog food when you have your homemade dog food how many cups per day per your dogs cuz they're different ways I have a 65 lb Pitbull. I have to be giving him some chicken and some rice but I didn't I don't have an instant pot so what I did was I just cooked the chicken chicken breast on the stove and then I put the lid on like steamed it I cooked it for like a half hour 45 minutes. I like that cool down and then I had some canned carrots and then I have rice I made my rice which was like that 25 minute rice I made that in the pot so I never combine them all together except for when I made it like I put them in different containers. So each day I'm just taking a little bit of a cup of chicken a cup of carrots and I put two cups of rice because he's a bigger dog because I gave him a cup of rice cup of chicken and a cup of carrots and he ate it real fast. So I put two cups of rice 1/2 cups of carrots can I have some chicken broth in there play the microwave just to take the chill off of it.and he eats it really good but he started to eat more faster this way than he does his dog food. I give him 2 cups of dog food in the morning and sometimes he'll eat at night but usually he's always been a one-time eater and I just had like chicken or rice or green beans whatever vegetables I got on my plate I give it to him but I don't put no seasonings on none of them but I was just wondering because. I was I feed him pedigree chicken and rice it seems like it helps him better in his stomach compared to the other ones I have blue buffalo senior diet food but that was only a 15 lb bag and he went out he's done with that so now I have to come up with some money to buy some dog food but I have to give him food so I've been giving him you know making food this way is there another way I don't have an instant pot is there another way besides a crock pot is there a way that I could put it like in a blender or put it in like my mixer. And then put it in storage containers and then how long do you freeze it for.
