Wow ! Much respect to Lei, her mom, family and dance teachers. Heart warming. Now, we need to see an Indian perform a chinese dance form well. Nada. Nil.

She started dancing at the young age of 3 yrs old
Great
Hindu Girls in India should learn Bharatnatyam if they get opportunity.
Not only girls, but everyone should try to uphold our culture.
SATHIR ATTAM by name in tamilnadu practiced in temple from ages by local people. Has renamed by RUKMINI DEVI from then it called by the name BHARATANATYAM developed by bharata muni( actually we dont know who he is).just to portrait how brahminisation has played.
It is good to see people of other country learning it. But pity is that native people was once barred to learn it who developed it. Even today the lobby wont allow native (tamil) to go beyond it to achieve.exception there But Till not visible.
The thing is that, teach and APPRICIATE the people of the NATIVE and country people.
Hope will happen in days to come.
not only hindu, anybody can learn it , its an universal artform
Not south indian its Tamil to be more precise
