As much as I hate Abbott, I would never see O'Rourke winning anyone over in Texas outside of the turbo-liberal neighborhoods in the Texas Triangle.
I wish Ann were still with us, I can only imagine how she would tear into the “three amigos” (Abbott, Patrick, Paxton) for their disastrous mismanagement of the power grid, amongst other things.
Texas is one of the best states to live in today in economic terms and it ain’t because of the 4 years Richards was governor. You can thank Clements, Bush, Perry, and Abbott for making it the best business state in the country as well as the fastest growing state.
@sboudreaux27 I’m not old enough to remember Clements, also I’m from Alaska so all I know about Texas is statistics through population growth, job growth, and business friendliness. I think Texas is certainly a bit overrated and isn’t quite the greatest business state in the country, but it’s a good model for the rest of the country? Oh yeah, and who’s on your profile picture. I’ve been subscribed to your channel for a long time and always wondered that.

I liked Richards, but Abbott is a humble servant. BETO is no Ann…Robert Francis ORourke can go home again try in 2024 Against the Cruz again…
