I wanted to take the time to write and say - I followed this video and it worked like a charm. I was quoted over $300 to do this - but I ordered the part and did it myself and voila, we have water dispensing again.
I troubleshot the ice maker circuit with a multimeter from the test ports on the icemaker. Found an open on the water inlet valve. Thank you for taking the time to show how to replace the valve. I just got my new valve today and I'm ready to put it in tomorrow.
Can the connection be put on upside down ? I first replaced the ice try that was not the problem than I replaced the water inlet valve. I know there are two different size wire connectors but not sure how I pulled my off and if I flipped them upside down when I reassemble Sill no ice I have water at the door just no ice Any suggestions or recommendations
I've replaced the water inlet valve recently as in this video, but I need to know what the ISO valve is and what it controls. That is what it is called in the schematic diagram.

One of the better Do It Yourself videos I've watched. Nicely done.

Noticed you did not replace the 3 zip ties... Why?
