Conventional and stiff bar..The realeast a deadlift can be. Insane pull!
People grabbing heavy shit and lifting it is fun to watch, its primordial
*He has deadlift prodigy arm length lol*
His rom is still long. Measure it
Nice! You saw that too. I just wrote about that myself.
@@Xilladan093 *No Diddy*
@@Xilladan093no rom lmao
@@tysonlam1983 😂
I wish my lockout was as low as his...great pull!
That's a really close stance. Awesome lift, too! Reminds me of Richard Hawthorne
Look at the great deadlifters arms. They're really long. I think that's one of the most important things to get into a favorable position.
I am currently watching USA Powerlifting on youtube and the majority are pulling sumo.
Of course they are brother 🙏
Ofc they do, sumo is by definition cheating on the work you do, everyone will potentially lift more with sumo.
Powerlifting accepts sumo does not prove that sumo ain't cheating, which isn't a big deal, this is not a real sport anyway and it is still a great test for strength, as long as everyone are put under the same guidelines it's fine.
@@therocklau My comment is not endorsement for sumo. It was merely an observation at which lift was predominating in collegiate powerlifting.
At the same meet, older guys in a different category with thicker frames were majority conventional. Maybe it's a generational thing. I don't know.
Dude arms reach his knees
About time you post a real deadlift video
only betas wide-grip bench 🙏
unbelievable....iam speechless
Close-grip bench is superior to Wide-grip bench.
🙏
What?
Lol its exactly the same as saying conventional deadlift is better than sumo. its just none of these idiots understand anything and continue to say that sumo is cheating 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@CCXRacer. Lol exactly right. just idiots that don't understand that humans have different leverages and are different just like some people like to close grip bench and some people like to wide grip bench..
Regular deadlift is vastly superior to Sumo deadlift.
That was awesome
My workout routine is solely centered around conventional deadlifts using a stiff bar. Recognizing my current strength limitations, I am committed to training rigorously to enhance my strength, much like "Son Goku" from Dragon Ball Super. Presently, my 2-rep max for conventional deadlifts with a stiff bar is around 3.63 times my body weight.
That guy does not look like an 83
My god those arms are long!’ What a lift !
Only betas don't use a squat plug.
Martina bradley is pulling his squat plug as we speak.
He's an 83? No fkn way damn
I still have a lot to do
4.5x the bw is awesome!
its really about ape hands
Lamar gant of 21st century
damn
Guys arms/torso are wild. When I lock out, bar is right below my Johnson. He's like 8 inches below that. Pulling off the floor is like rack pull to him.
Good thing he isn't doing sumo he'd lock out and bar wouldn't leave the ground.
2.500 kg 👍
If you dont like sumo make sure to squat high bar and bench with a close grip. Dont use your leverages to your advantage
Ofc do like John Haack
Gigachad Clarence Kennedy style
This dude is a unit with insane leverages and pulled 200 less than the last dude. JS the comments come because you've previously acted like the lifts are equal difficulty which they clearly aren't.
Tell me if the lifts are not only dependent on individual anatomy how is that possible that the 4 highest totals at Sheffield 2024 only had 1 sumo puller and 3 conv pullers? Gavin Adin straight out switched from sumo to conv. Do you think that a top 0.001% elit athlete would handicap himself just so satisfy some butthurt conv fans? lol
The last guy attempted 1000 lbs and was unable to break the floor (at the same bodyweight). He has successfully pulled around 400 kg on a deadlift bar in competition so on a stiff bar Saheed would probably win.
@@LiftingVault400 kg due to strength or grip though? Because it becomes a null argument if due to grip tho and either way he's also significantly younger as well. At 17 is ridiculous, you would never see a conventional puller at those numbers at that age. Not to mention his strength in both bench and squat is significantly worse. almost like he's doing more with less muscle due to sumo being more efficient.
@@LiftingVault Additional question: Is he tested? Just asking cause you didn't say he was tested but Nik You is tested
@@rolandmarkus6188 Not even true. Agata pulls sumo. Larger lifters like Jesus can't physically get into position for sumo which is common knowledge regarding those in heavier weight classes. That sort of argument just in general is ridiculous because we can look at the fact that 500 kg sumo pulls are all done at significantly lighter bodyweights which is only possible due to it being a more efficient movement. You will NEVER see a conventional puller at Jamals bodyweight pull 500kg conventional so that alone is IRREFUTABLE evidence
this dude have long arm and short torso... he literally built to deadlift what are you talking about
Who said he wasn't?
@@LiftingVault you said he wasn't a prodigy
oh wait nvm, I think I miss heard
Whoa a real deadlift posted on here. Crazy!
Memes aside, awesome pull.
not a milimeter of beta soy in that dude
Amen my brother in iron keep preaching the lifting gospel 🙏
The cope is almost unbearable in this comment section.
The cope? What does that mean? I was thinking the comment sections on all of lifting vaults videos are ridiculous. You got these fan trolls who continue to watch and comment and troll on every video. The trolls are probably single handedly paying lifting vaults bills.
Oh wow, I've noticed none of them wear a hat while pulling too!!!
Quick make a video on that!
A real deadlift. This channel has a chance
Finally the first real lift in almost a yearQq
I bet he could Sumo 1000lbs with a few months of training. But his mama would slap him silly for being a beta sumo
or just maybe... this is his strongest technique
@@cyclobenchaprine no thats too logical for these smooth brained non competitors
@@cyclobenchaprine Yeah conventional can literally be easier for people with very short torso, long legs and long arms. For people with longer torso, conventional is drastically more difficult. Those people excel more at sumo.
You see a lot of black guys around this weight category who all pull conventional, and all lock out halfway down their thighs. The reason is that typically their body type suits conventional. You don't see for instance many Asian guys pulling conventional, because their body types typically suit sumo.
People complain that sumo and conventional are different lifts, but the small anatomical differences between people in terms of leg/torso/arm length make for an even greater difference in the biomechanics of the lift. The guy in this video is absolutely not doing the same deadlift as your average joe in the gym. His body proportions are making the lift hundreds of pounds more biomechanically efficient.
@@CronosXIIIIthank you for the long, intelligent reply, it hasn't gone unnoticed. .
Sumo betas crying and coping like crazy 🙏
No shit most deadlift prodigies don’t lift conventional. Sumo and mixed grip let you lift more.
A real deadlift not that beta sumo manlet soy pulling 🙏
Your frilly pink beta sumo outfit looks so fabulous on you SISTER 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👸👸👸👸👸👸👸🙏🙏🙏
The Sumo ‘deadlift’ has ruined powerlifting along with deadlift bars. Whoever said the above quote is also another reason powerlifting is dead.
Only betas pull sumo 🙏
skill issue get better
@@Luke11636it's not brother its an easier beta lift, get stronger 🙏
@@martinbradley1062 easier for who? not everyone apparently. If it was everyone would do it. Nobody complained about it 10 years ago when I was getting started. The only thing that really changed was the greater selection of competitors and the bars/equipment. If you want to argue about noodle deadlift bars then you probably have a point. Everyone out here is getting stronger. Focus on yourself, don't complain about what you can't accomplish.
Correct and common sense ❤❤
@@Luke11636easier for the majority brother, and i won't pull sumo im not a beta and i want a real deadlift 🙏
Anti sumo stance
Now that's what I'm talking about 💪🏼. Non soy boy lift (sumo). Only a grown as man lift.
that is conventional2
