As someone that worked at MAC I know for a fact that the entire studio radiance line oxidizes. From liquids to powders. So if if it looks light when you swatch it. Blend it Let it sit and see what it looks like dried down. A swatch doesn’t do it justice if you want a proper shade match

@@Ohemaa yes. The great thing about this new relaunch is they don’t oxidize as much as the old version. The old version was the blueprint for the first Rihanna foundation. Same thing with Patrick Starr. They both worked with the brand closely
I did not find that this foundation oxidizes. But I was told that because of the skin care ingredients they added to the Radiance line (both Face & Body and Studio Fix Fluid Radiance) the color match was not going to be the same as my original shade. I’m normally an NC45 and was match for NC44 in this foundation and C6 (normally C7) in Face and Body

You probably should use NW60 in the winter and NW65 in the summer if you think you just have to have NW65. To me, NW 60 looked like a better match but that could be how it's translating on camera.

NW 60 def looks better to me, especially as a former working makeup artist. I can see more of the distinction in color from your face to your neck with NW65. NW60 certainly has more continuity from face to neck to chest.

I think the NW60 would be a good winter shade for you and the NW65 would probably work for your summer shade. But I must say, they both look really good on you!
Both shades look good; the darker shade definitely enhances your dramatic look. The lighter shade could be for your "no make up" make days😊

My impression just from the video is that the slightly darker foundation shade is also just a tad more cool and gives a better contrast with your concealer, while the slightly lighter foundation shade is quite warm-toned and doesn't have as much of a contrast when compared side by side with the darker shade.
Another factor may be that your face, as you said, isn't one shade all over. The slightly darker foundation matches the parts where your face is naturally darker more, and gets lightened up with concealer around the eyes, where your skin is a bit lighter naturally too, anyway. So it probably looks more like your "normal" face as compared to the slightly lighter foundation, which basically brings the slightly lighter shades of your skin to the forefront, and then also gets lightened more by the concealer, so overall gives a slightly different look than what you would usually see when looking into a mirror with no makeup on (obviously you look different with and without makeup, but the shade distribution on your face is different, is what I'm trying to say).
I'm sorry if I expressed myself in a convoluted way, I hope this all makes sense lol
That being said I thought both shades looked like they fit you well.

I loved NW60 on you. It gave you a beautiful radiance and dimension on your jawline. I just felt the 65 darkened your jawline. Your jawline and cheekbones are wonderful so I would accentuate them with the lighter shade if I were you. Beautiful as usual!

I like both. You can used the deeper shade in the summer and the other one in winter. However I like nw60 mich more for you. I can barely see any difference

In my opinion NW60 is a good autumn/winter shade: it's look beautyful on you however NW65 looks good too but may be a little bit deep for now. It's would be perfect for summer.

NW60 with darker bronzer will add a natural looking contour while highlighting the lighter parts of your face, giving you a natural "glow".
OMG! Both sides look Beautiful. The deeper side is what I'm accustomed to you wearing so I like that side. The lighter side looks beautiful also. I'm going over to MAC to check this foundation out! Soft Glam is my thing and I think this foundation will do it!

Isn't it the best to have that problem. I really felt that, lol. I like them both, but I think I like nw60 more. You could mix them, though, or just trade off, depending on how you feel. 💜

Use nw60 in the center of your face, mix/blend it outward with nw65 😊
This look is really pretty. I want to get the Mac. I was wondering does it compare to any other dewy foundation in your opinion.
I bought this foundation as soon as it came out. And uncharacteristically I went in to get re-color matched in this foundation and I’m glad I did. Normally, I’m an NC45 have been since I started wearing Mac in 2000. But, because of the new formulation of this foundation, the Mac artist matched me at NC44. So, yes, because of the different formulation of this product, you shouldn’t go with your “usual” shade. I have had to do this with several of Mac foundations that pull differently than my “usual” shade.

I prefer the NW65 because it's a good balance with your neck too and with the concealer. I feel like on the lighter one your concealer can't do its thing. I too use vitamin c and only use it max 2 times a week. This way it's not whitening, but more balancing. I still get Caro Light flashbacks when I read whitening on products 😅 never used it, but we've all seen the aunties 😂
Both work for you. It just depends on the look you want. I still haven’t found a good MAC shade for me.

I can't choose. I know people trash MAC but they been riding with me since 2001 and I still have their brushes that are that old. MAC is old bae. NW60 is the perfect shade & gives you a lovely warm glow. NW65 is way too dark & makes you look a bit burnt to me. Just my opinion. Let’s be honest your skin is perfection anyway and most of the time I can’t see the difference when you have foundation on or not. You’re one of the few women who is stunning barefaced. ❤
Don’t gatekeep the vitamin c serum… Some of us actually struggle with dark circles and need a serum like that.
