I got mine few days back. Just like you, more on for note taking. I considered the fact that it's light, I can organise my notes, may it be for work or personal stuff. I was apprehensive at first cuz I also like the colour. But based on the reviews online, the cons about it vs the colour is the feel of writing on it. So that made me buy that. As someone writing from ipad to boox go 10.3 I can say there a big difference i really enjoy writing on it. As fsr as reading, I find it challenging navigating the pdf files. Putting annotations is cool although it would be a lot nicer if it's coloured. Plus the fact that it's do so much but since it's black and white, it help ne to be more focus on reading but at the same time it's gives me that option. Files transfer, I used Dropbox. Plus I can also just insert my USB
Very Nice, mines been mostly notes too although I do recommend checking out something like the Gutenberg project if you wanna try reading. they are public domain books that are freely available and they host an opds stream you can pull books right from the tablet.

Thought about picking one of these up. As stupid as it sounds, more for sketching. But, also using it for some reading too. Lol
For sketching I'd almost say go with one of the color models but if B/W is good enough this tablet is great for the light sketching I've done.
