I picked pile 1 and it resonates SOOOO MUCH! I know the guy and we are actually meeting in a few hours at night. This is was so accurate it felt like it was just for me! I had met a guy a little over a month ago online who wasn’t really my type at first but we had talked for a week and met up soon after and it happened randomly when I least expected. For me, I think the fear is the fact that I’m afraid sex won’t satisfy me because I have a specific expectation that I feel like in my mind would be the only thing that satisfies me, so I’m very closed minded. I’m scared that I won’t feel comfortable with anyone doing anything other than that as the main act. By wanting to keep him at arms length, if it’s what I’m thinking, it’s because we’re at a distance and we’re uncertain of the future because of our circumstances. This means we’re at a distance emotionally and physically until something further is possible, if that ever happens. I feel I might never see him again or not for a long time so I have to be in the moment. The family part resonates because I’m visiting him with my mom and we’ll probably be meeting each other’s families. I’m also just scared of sex with anyone after some past trauma with setting boundaries so that’s my other fear, however, the fear at the beginning also resonates. This is how I took it, it feels right in this moment for my situation so I’ll take it. Things are definitely a transition with him but I’m hoping that we can get to a future together.
