Agree! We stumbled on these almost by accident while googling for hot springs. There's some information and maps on the Ourense Tourism Site. It's super hard to find it without knowing the EXACT key word searches of "Ourense Ruta de Termas". turismodeourense.gal/en/la-ciudad/downloads/
Great to run into you both today.. fantastic video. I was going to stay an extra day in Ourense to make a vid about the baths myself but think I'll save myself the trouble and just point people to yours 😊
I know this video was made a long time ago, but I wanted to ask you some questions. I'll be going to Galicia and spending a day in Lugo, then Ourense in May next year and wanted to know if the weather during this time is cold. Also, wanted to visit a winery called Almas Das Donas on the river Sil. Do you have aAny recommendations on boat tours on the river? I just hope its not to cold to do these things in May. Love your videos. Please film some more!
Oh how fun! You might have cold weather in May and you might have a heat wave. It's super variable here. Are you renting a car? The Sil River area is only accessible with your own vehicle or with a tour vehicle. We recently rented a car and joined a boat trip at the Embarcadoiro de Santo Estevo. Booked our tickets with www.hemisferios.org/. We loved it. It's a pretty big boat (90 people), so if you want something more personal, we've heard good things about www.excursionribeirasacra.com/. You can customize a tour that includes the winery you want to visit.
So disrespectful... it says no filming.. so why film? you are promoting irresponsible tourism that disrespects locals... When a guest in a country, you have to follow the rules!
Ourense is such a beautiful city!
We totally agree.
Thanks for sharing this, its crazy how little the info is on these amazing baths!
Anjali d'cunha totally! We had a hard time getting any info. So glad we stayed long enough to explore every hot pool.

Been there in 2022 to visit an Ourense local friend…such a beautiful city. Hoping to be back there this year. 🥰

Thanks so much! It was great meeting you today. Enjoy the rest of your Camino! Let us know if you ever pass through Ourense again. :)

Miss this place went with a friend from Boston in 2013
We miss it, too. It’s one of our favorite places.

You’re right. We know better now.
