As someone who wasn't raised with street fighter, listening to both the old and new versions back to back I can pretty much safely say that the old versions better. Don't get me wrong I can certainly appreciate this new version; slowing the melody down gives it more of an epic tone. But at the same time I prefer my fighting music to be fast paced, especially in street fighter 4, and the original guiles theme just fits that tone better. It'd be kinda of like slowing down the rocky theme; it might sound more dramatic, but it just won't get you as pumped up.
Well I guess the manga really got first but is he really based off him besides of his hair？ because everything else especially his personality is very very different
It DOES go with everything,each part. The beggining and most:epic song The more quiet part 4:47 : Sad moments and such. WHen we say "it goes with everything" we dont necessarily mean the entire song,we mean that the song in full,Containing each and every part,might fit any situation.
Whether you like or not one version or another (i think all of them are great...just another version...if you enjoy the main theme you can basically enjoy all versions more or less)) what i find good about these themes on you tube is that you really can enjoy listening to the music alone, instead of trying to beat an opponent down as you do when playing the game

I admire your ability to use guile, I can't manage charge moves based characters like him, though I do find him fun to use occasionally (esspecially in streetfighter 2 because nothing beats the orginal Sonic boom voice) though my best is dudley and then T. hawk
