Looks sharp! Great info, thanks guys!
Amazing, great for outdoor kitchen.
Bro! I was actually going to get you a stripper for Christmas but I was on a budget.. I suppose I could have shopped around for a good deal.
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the video 👍
I love that idea! Do you know if this countertops would be heat resistant enough to use an induction cooktop hidden underneath, lets say we use glass optic fiber?
we have never tried anything like that, there is a limitation to how much heat concrete like this can handle. I would start by determining what the highest temps would be for the induction stove
Can you then put a mettalic coat on top without compromising the integrity of the fibres?
A metallic coat over fiber optics would at very least make them very dim or possibly cover them up completely. The fiber will be fine, just not visible.
How did you know what hole size to drill if the fiber was of mixed diameters?
We have a verity of small drill bits so we can adjust as we go. You don't need to know the exact diameter of each fiber, you just need to get it close. A nice snug fit is ideal, but some of the small ones in this video had a decent amount slop. Polishing or even just sanding the surface a bit will take care of it. Thanks for watching👍
Well yeah.. you missed the light part. Do you just put LED stripe? Or??
After you install the fiber optics strands and cast the concrete, you'll need an illuminator to power the fiber optics. There are tons of options out there, anywhere from $100 - $500, and maybe even more depending on how many fibers you need to run & some have more options then others. Thanks for watching!!!
Can you share the link to the fiber optic.
Thanks for the comment! You can order the fibers from a verity of places online, including Amazon. Here's a link to place we've dealt with the most. Thanks for watching Deco-Crete TV!!!!

How about the power ⚡ please?
You'll need an illuminator to power the fiber optics. There are tons of options out there, anywhere from $100 - $500, and maybe even more depending on how many fibers you need to run & some have more options then others. Things like color wheels, strobe effects, remote controls and so on. The biggest thing to make sure of is that your fiber optic pig tail will fit in the illumination port. Thanks for watching and please let us know if you have any other questions!!!
What fiber optic did you use?
Here's a link to the ones we used for the table in this video. It has 48 strands of three deferent sizes to create the a star effect. Thanks for watching!!!
