I just got an Arizona Smooth Claw Scorpion. I think yours is the same. I have mine in a 10 gal terrarium. I used eco earth as a substrate, I also read they like hiding under rocks and bark, which I also included with some leaf litter. I noticed your substrate has a lot of moisture. Do you know what temp and humidity they prefer?
They only surface during moist periods such as monsoons. Their cage should have a moist spot with dry areas. I will typically spray different parts of the cage at different times of the week.
