Thank you for the update video. I'm up in Eastern WA State and I'm looking at an abandoned 4 bay on a busy corner lot. I've Been watching your videos since you started posting on this project. I would also be interested in learning more about your cold weather setup and operations. Good luck in 2023 and please keep the videos coming.
Good day .. I just found your video on car wash and will be subscribing to all of your content. It’s been a few months now that I finally thought about doing the same as you did.. which is open a car wash. I enjoy your videos and I have so much questions about the process. I will somehow like to IM or email you. I’m in San Diego and is a Vet. I’m proud of what you’re doing.. keep up the content. My name is JD
I'm looking at buying and running a quarter car wash id really like to learn about the chemical side of this how you setup and calibrate how much soap you use etc... I know if its not set up correctly you could go threw a lot of soap and loose a lot of money and product. can you go over that. id also like to see a video of fixing a older 7 selection box mine has those and I will be fixing them replacing the rotary switch etc,,,
I know a guy in a town close to me he has a 6 bay car wash and he was doing a complete overhaul new everything and converting one bay into an automatic and his total was $100,000.00+. Now I inherited a four bay ss carwash but it has no equipment or anything and another 2 bay ss carwash with 2 vacuums. I have done my best to keep it going. I mean it was 50 cents for three min up until about two months ago when I figured out how to change the timer. My husband built them himself but he passed two years ago. The two bay is right on the highway across from the liquor store (last one before entering dry counties). And I am the only one in town so the business is there with great potential for making money. I just don't know what I am doing.
Hell how are you doing today . It's 08-26-24 today I just saw your text on the revestor video. I just wanted to know how is your business going since you posted on here .
Love the video. I’m looking at a 4 bay self serve wash that has been damaged from a fire. I would need to repair asphalt and get all new equipment. Right on a busy road with 10,000 cars a day going by. It would be the only car wash in town. Just don’t know how to underwrite the deal to know how much to spend.
Wondering what processing system you used for cards as well as what company provided you the bay boxes? Looking into upgrading ours soon and love your layout
The card reader is a brand called Nayax. Its probably the most modern credit card reader available chip, swipe, apple pay the whole 9 yards. Gary and his team at CustomKraft built the boxes did the layout and designed the decal.
Hey I’m looking at buying my first wash soon. But I’m lost when it comes to the business side of things (licensing, finding out why it closed, mortgage, what questions to ask well buying). If you could just give an insight on the process you went through, that would be helpful.
What kind of paint did you use? I'm looking at a 4-bay red brick site that needs painting, but I want to use the right kind of paint that will be easy to keep clean. Tnx!
Do you have a ring o matic for cleaning your pits? I found post hole digger works great for it too if doing it by hand. Ours has a side pit with a plate over it that the ring o matic can't get into so I just move the mud to the pit that it can get into.
Hey man, thanks for the video! I’ve got a commercial lot with 3 bays with electricity and water but no equipment. What do you recommend we will need to get started? Thanks!
Cool sounds like you have a project. Check out carwashconsignment.com and see if there is any equipment for sale close to you. Sometimes people are selling entire packages.
I bought an old carwash that I think is NOT in the perfect location. It’s a 4bay with only 10ft ceiling. I have a quote of $110k to get it equipped. Did I make a mistake?
@@therevestor were shutting down next week having meter bay boxes and all the self serve pumps and motors replaced. Lol I loose sleep thinking about it.
I wish my local car wash would cater to higher end customers. I’d pay double to be able to connect my own spray gun and be able to fill up a 5 G. bucket

Thanks you have been following along for a minute.
Hi bro great video very informative ty
Wanted to know where can I find car washes for sale?
How much did you put down to get the car wash and do you own or lease?
Wondering what processing system you used for cards as well as what company provided you the bay boxes? Looking into upgrading ours soon and love your layout

Great inside.. thank you
Great info. I feel like I have heard the same quote you use at the end on a recent podcast…maybe Choose FI
I'll check it out!

Great Video! I'm looking into renovating a car wash as well. Where did you get the funding in order to start?
Pretty cool thank you for the info
You did great with your used purchases that Carolina skid is 40000 alone. Thanks for the update
Thats what I have been told which is awesome.
What kind of paint did you use? I'm looking at a 4-bay red brick site that needs painting, but I want to use the right kind of paint that will be easy to keep clean. Tnx!
I used a commercial grade epoxy paint. A Sherwinn Williams store can get you a good product.
Already subscribed and hitted the bell ;-) I´am curious. Greets from Germany
Thanks I am glad you keep coming back for more.

I dont have one but I have looked at them online.

Cool. Have fun you will learn quick

Are you familiar with any Gin San setups? From pump stands to meter boxes.
I have seen them around yes
@@therevestor were shutting down next week having meter bay boxes and all the self serve pumps and motors replaced. Lol I loose sleep thinking about it.
@@matthewroberts7255 wow! Hope its a quick swap for you.
Are there self bay car wash machines which can be on 240V.....thinking of starting one back to Africa
I am sure they are out there somewhere.
I wish my local car wash would cater to higher end customers. I’d pay double to be able to connect my own spray gun and be able to fill up a 5 G. bucket
I have a higher start price and ultimately that does drive away low end customers that cause the most problems at my wash
6:10 some RGB led stripes along there would be sick
For sure. Something like that would be awesome
Don't forget to add Wash Analytics to your bays!
I have been hearing about Wash Analytics. I need to know more.
How does the winter months affect your business? What state are you in?
It causes really slow days and really busy days unlike the summer thats more consistent
Sounds like a lease
Six figures plus 😮
Right on
was that $11,000 per meter box?
It was actually $11,000 for all 4 of my Meter Boxes. It was a great deal!
You really should have replaced the entire asphalt. The break even payoff would have been 5, maybe 10 years.
Can't wait for you to get a new car wash to fix up or even a laundromat.
Yeah I would be open to another project too.
arnt you COLD your in the snow and youve just got a t shirt on MAN
Brrrr
Under 100k
Under 100k for sure
There were just a few misc. items that pushed me over that 100K mark.
$150000
I already subscribed i cant subscribe anymore
But you can share this channel ;-)
Thanks for being there.
