Thanks, this summarizes it all perfectly. All the issues you described (including the audio speaker one, which I thought may just be with my device 😉) plus an intermittedly fast draining battery with the phone getting extremely hot can be found here. I now try Ubuntu touch, and see whether that leaves me with something useful.
The one thing out of two that stopped me from getting it - is the tilt on the screen when it unfolds. Not only is that a deliberately induced weak-point, it makes holding and using it unergonomic AF.
I've used FxTec Pro 1 for 3 years, as someone who hated typing on a touch keyboard, have to say that I've used physical keyboard less than I thought I would, at the end almost never opened the thing. It's not as comfortable to type on as Nokia N900 one, duplicate presses, etc. Now that I've got Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and used it for about a week (and bought it for much cheaper than FxTec) now my old FxTec phone looks like a relic compared to it
i have it too and wayyy too many buttons on one side. Ontop of that the touchscreen seems to be poor quality and glitch sometimes you've Gotta really give it a hefty lil tap. That and cellular network selector. Its quirky and admirable though!. I could've sworn there was supposed to be a dual USB c input.
I got my phone on August 2022 and only managed to use it for 3 days and the. Got annoyed. I have a question please does the side buttons giggles or just my device ?
Wee need an second / premium version with 1 inch camera with 4k120 and dual sim simultanous together with 16 gb ram. Another Idea would an Micro HDMI In and Output as the sony xperia pro. IR would an nice gaddet together with dual sd, bt 5.4 and an removoable 5000 mah cell I would pay 1200 euros
Okay I just got mine after I pretty much given up on thinking I would get one. Got it with stock Android had ordered it with lineage. I guess they know better? Have you flashed lineage on this yet and if so, could you do a video showing this? I'm horrible with written instructions, much better with UA-cam tutorials. Lineage recommends running the stock OS before flashing their ROM to make sure all the functions work, which is what I'll do, but I really don't want to keep this Android 11.
At least you got your phone. :) I was among the first backers and still waiting. :)
when did u even order it ? I'd like to buy the phone
@@abhishekk1387 I have one with Scandinavian keyboard incoming in the mail now, if you are interested.

OH and i believe the bottom speaker grill is faux cause i only get sound out of the top grill and its also horribly quiet.

I don't get why people buy the xda lineage linux meme phone just to complain about the stock android rom
Because that's what he paid for. You're one those type to hate capitalism huh?
@@SuperABC123 Yes. In Das Kapital Carl Marx wrote: "lol using the stock rom is pure cringe bro".
@jenkins464 Karl Marx was absolutely a very unintelligent man. His books were as dumb as the holy Bible and Quran.
@@jenkins464I thought George Washington said that
