My Hero Academia is my favorite and I've seen Death Note
It's funny how hunter x hunter isn't even a plot heavy shounen. The whole plot of the anime is literally Gon finding his father Ging. It's as simple as it gets. The show revolves around the adventure to get to the destination and all the random little detours along the way.

And about the development... Yes, the main aren't developing that much except for Carla in the second season, but they do in the third. In second season much of side characters have their development- like people from Sabertooth.
So again, why do you not agree that this anime is often sad? There've been so many sad moments, and I cried during them! I understand if you don't, but don't say it's shit just beause I like it and you don't!
