He was doing what dogs do when you give them something really good. They want to run away and hide so they can eat it privately without imaginary dogs stealing it from them. 😆

Patrick really has grown. You can even see some of the black coloration beginning to come in. He looked like an ordinary deer when he was just a baby, but now you can really tell that he's a blackbuck antelope.
He also evolved from a dog into an antelope

Nature is rough. I just lost my favorite pet Rat on Monday after a bit over two years, and his brothers miss him dearly with a hole left in my heart that makes me think I might not ever get any more after this group moves on. I know it's nature's way though, and those Owls do need learn to hunt as part as the process. Much love for what you do.

I'm in California and power is out. It's 105° Using the last of my battery to watch Urban Rescue as well. Replacing all the underground power lines where we live. Whoever thought that was a good idea obviously isn't one of the 15 men out there in the 105° having to work. Truly wish I had my AC on due to medical issues but seeing all Ben's animals so healthy and happy makes it all better. 😊☺️🙃

I always thought it was awful how rats live such short lives, because they're amazing, intelligent creatures. But, after some reflection, I realize it is for the best, as they are integral to so many carnivorous diets in the wild.
Fun fact, some of the rats in there are indeed fancy rats [domesticated] You can tell because they have patterns, for example I actually saw one with a hood pattern in there, idk I just found it interesting.
@@rainbowquacker1878 all of them were, he got them from a pet store. Its kinda unethical as they dont have survival instincts the same wild rats do and are used to indoor life

If you ever get more coyotes or need more durable toys for any animals, a JollyBall would be great, they come in a lot of sizes with a very durable handle on the side, it's also physically imposible to pop.

You should look into getting your rats and mice somewhere else, those are domesticated fancy rats, they are not equiped for survival in the wild (even as prey like this). They are meant to be pets and bred for that so their wild instincts arent present anymore
