Наткнулся на этот проект, можно сказать, случайно. В поисках разных интересных игр вспомнил про сериал mlp, который смотрел достаточно давно и всего несколько серий. После чего решил поискать игры в этой среде и наткнулся на этот проект. Я не брони, однако проект зацепил меня. Графика интересная и на глаз очень приятно воспринимается, так же как и окружающий мир со своей архитектурой, по крайней мере по тем моментам, что можно было увидеть. Зацепила еще и затравка для сюжета, в особенности когда у тебя есть компаньон в виде маленькой сестры и застывший мир, который как понимаю, будет открытым и можно будет идти куда хочешь, но всё еще держа приоритет на основное задание. Больше всего зацепило то, что вы решили сделать упор на взаимодействие с сестрой. Раздражать это не будет даже после многих часов геймплея, если с ней будет не только большая вариативность взаимодействия, но и от этого будет зависеть и конечный итог путешествия. Было бы интересно видеть, как мы так же её тренируем и обучаем разной магии. Имея больше возможностей её потерять и не дойти с ней до конца, в последствии получив плохой конец (или же с ней, но рассорившись окончательно), это добавит еще и реиграбельности, но наверное что-то из этого на настоящий момент и так реализовано. Как бы там по итогу не было, но вы большие молодцы, что не бросили проект и он не пополнил кладбище с остальными другими. Такую игру я бы купил, не только потому, что понравилась, но и как знак поддержки, потенциал у вас большой и уверен, что вы не только доведете игру до ума со временем, и будете её поддерживать и после релиза, но и через какое-то время сделаете еще не мало интересных проектов. Надеюсь что каждый из вас останется довольным от самого процесса создания, ну а разработчик, что всё это начал, придет к своей мечте
Это восхитительно, и так завораживающе... Даже не знаю с чем сравнить... Это будто бы Скайрим про пони, с долькой Фоллаута, и приправленный Симсом. Что-то по-настоящему особенное и наверное даже уникальное...))) Искренне желаю разработчикам удачи и терпения в этом нелёгком деле, надеюсь все ваши планы осуществятся так, как задумано))) (Глупо наверное было писать на русском, но надеюсь вы сможете понять, к тому же, это даст понять, что игра реально стала охватывать куда больше)
One of the main key aspects of this for me will be the dialogues. there'd need to be many and strong on variety to avoid repetition and to motivate/reward the player for grinding on all the chores. Also like someone else suggested a more streamlined approach to place objects/items around instead of relying solely on physics would be ideal imho. I can't imagine Overcooked being a successful and beloved game if the grabbing/placing of objects relied on physics instead of just pressing A to place them automatically. I understand the charm of realism but sometimes the gameplay just benefits from being more functional. Or at the very least have an option to choose between physics-only vs automatic/stronger magnetic placement.
A more in-game approach to this would be light "pushes" made by magic to autoplace objects. Those pushes are only cosmetic: the game actually autoplaces objects on a technical standpoint. Stuff like this could happen to projectiles too, among other things.

You really taken this game to a whole new scale of potential man. Even though I lost touch with MLP, I still keep track of your game because I know you're doing something extraordinary! I'm aware that it takes time, but the amount of time you have used with your team at your own pace, this game looks amazing!

Это ж можно залипнуть чисто на готовке на несколько часов, особенно если рецептов побольше сделать ) Битва сковородкой - снимаю шляпу )) Сочетание магии, бытовухи и боёвки выглядит отлично ) Элемент одиночества во всём этом - тоже прекрасен. Очень хотелось бы, чтобы реиграбельность была максимальной, любыми способами. Обширный мир, большое количество бытовых элементов/действий... Готов приобрести игру по выходу, даже не смотря на высокую конспирацию по поводу смотрения поней )
Here's an enemy idea. Killer Windigos that swarm the skies like big scary phantoms. If you're out in the open too long one of them may pick up your scent and you'll soon be overrun with them.
LOVING the dynamic dialog lines following what you do in the inventory!! Such kind of "next-gen advanced party members interaction/realism" reminds me of what games such as FF15 did, and I'm loving that direction a lot. I'm all for that!! It's something requiring quite a lot of additional work with the more advanced you take it, so only top AAA game studios like Square Enix tend to do it, but if you can somehow managed to pull if off that would be amazing!! Also loving the inventory management and the cooking system, like how you have to fetch and position items to craft, in addition to simply having the required ingredients in your bag. Loving that added realism. It will throw some people off, but not me! And I'd be okay with it if it was only a "sister simulator" lol!! Watching the relationship between those two in the video was SO lovely, and not just because they're cute little ponies: I'm an only child who always wished to have a cute little sister like that, so I would enjoy the siblings part of the game and watching their relationship in that comfy solitary environment. I'm actually quite looking forward to this. How there are certain dishes that the characters prefer, is also impressive, because you need to code all that and add that much metadata to the items. Here too, if you can pull this off then it would be really epic. This really sounds like an ambitious project, but you guys have all my support! Also when she started wielding the frying pan as a weapon to fight the monsters, that was EPIC!!! And she's actually not the first to do that!! Iksel, in the game Atelier Rorona, fights with a frying pan!! That's his signature weapon that he's using all the time!! Right when you thought that you couldn't beat Polka fighting with an umbrella in Eternal Sonata... Anyway, that was fun and I sure appreciated that! As you might have guessed, I'm a massive fan of J-RPGs hehe. Oh by the way, if you need someone to write up the descriptions for the items (appearing either directly in the inventory or in an "Encyclopedia" feature) then I'm the pony for that! I'd love doing that so much as I hold very dear to item descriptions in the J-RPGs that I play, that often add appreciated lore (maybe I already proposed that on a previous update video). Chapter 1 in summer 2021 sounds good! Best of luck with the game everypony!!

First of all, HUGE congrats on the new development system! I'm so glad things have gotten less chaotic and toxic! Second, while I wasn't a huge fan of the tedious tasks in babysitting your sister, especially since it contrasts so much with the combat, it's starting to grow on me. Especially if you'll get a huge variety of options to get creative with, and not just doing the same things over and over without variation. I'm also curious to see how the relationship building with your sister actually affects gameplay and narrative. Plus, the environments, while the snow on the ground bugs out currently, looks visually STUNNING, and has a lot of interesting visual direction of telling what happened. Though I don't know how doing the who table and cooking mechanics will be manageable in different locations that wouldn't have kitchens or dinning rooms. Unless there's other ways to feed your sister, which would be good for variety of options. However, while you're working on this project, I have a few notes. - If the those rocks and sticks really have no use, get rid of them. They're amusing for dialogue and character establishment, but bad for gameplay to have useless items. - Similarly, don't have so many physics objects and cupboards to search through, if there's going to be so many duplicates (forks, plates, clothes, etc). It's not fun when you're searching for a specific item, but keep finding the same cups for the 10th time, unless you'd need to stock up on them. - Give the player the option to move faster when indoors. Yes, it's hard to control your character in small rooms, but slowly walking around when tending to your sister just starts to become a chore. - Try designing the babysitting tasks with less physics, and more just placing items where they'd need to be. It can become annoying to fight with the physics when you're just trying to manage your items, cook, or setting up a table. Having the items save in your inventory, and placing them where they need to be, is much more stream-lined, and also can save the trouble of bugs (characters not approaching plates cause they're misplaced, items getting stuck when you were using them, and so on). - Give the dodge a cooldown, so you don't just spam it. If there already is a cooldown, and I missed it, my bad. - Design a more noticeable lock on during combat, so the player can tell which enemy he/she's attacking. Best of luck for the future!
About the dodge cooldown, for me personally I enjoy Action-RPG games where the dodge doesn't have a cooldown (when it's all part of a balanced battle system accounting for it), because I like to be able to have that absolute control and sensation of freedom, moving around an enemy while calculating its movements/pattern. Now of course I can see why in some games a cooldown on the dodge could be relevant. I guess I don't know enough about Ambient.White to tell, but I just thought I'd add that ^^ (Awesome of you to leave that much feedback btw
@@ganondorfchampin I mean for gameplay purposes. Otherwise, they're kinda wasting processing power with having to always render the physics of the sticks and stones that you'll never use.
I can't wait till this game is complete. It will be one of my favorite mlp based games ever made. On Par with Fallout Equestria. If I had the money or the talent to help I would most definitely help. I want to see this game at its most finest. But most of all, to all of the creators working on it, don't over work yourself. We care for your health more than the game. You make the game complete.

Since this update was announced, I was excited, although I think I have some connection to somethings. (if you don't understand what i said, sorry. I am using a translator for complicated words) From the world environment to the short plot you gave us. I can not help but feel that this game is following the philosophy of Terranigma (SNES) I explain; In the world of Terranigma we are told that there are two worlds; one of light and one of darkness Our protagonist (Ark) lives in the world of darkness and due to a mistake that the mission now has to revive his people, but he discovers that there is another world outside which has gone through many atrocities and then undertakes a journey to restore the world where nothing exists (Time, flora, fauna and life) But with the passage of time he discovers that in order for the world to be completely healed, he has to sacrifice himself, since both worlds cannot exist. And I feel that here something could happen like this, (Maybe, because it is what transmitted to me seeing the development of the game from the beginning 4 years ago) Anyway, I am still looking forward to the development of this game and I have been very aware of its progress.
This is very unexpected. And this is great! An interesting idea and just great sensations and emotions obtained from a combination of colors on the screen with such a plot. (= I see what you did here, of course, remembering the original prototypes of the characters, and this makes it even more fun! ^^ Edit: (P.S. Literary plot)

This game looks SOOOO GOOD! The graphics look amazing, I was smiling so much hearing the sisters bickered and bantered, and the gameplay looks really smooth. I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far! I would like to make a few suggestions, however: I noticed in the part where you're making breakfast, you're needing to collect all the different little things needed to set the table. The idea itself I'm not against, it reminds me of collecting all the things needed for the raft at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts on Destiny Islands. However, I think collecting each fork and napkin individually, and then having to manually set the table would be very tedious and might turn a lot of people away. I think if you streamlined it a little. For example, instead of picking up one thing at a time, when you go into the pantry, you just pick up everything needed. Or you make the pantry like an inventory menu with all the knives, forks, napkins, etc. easily available. And when you go to set the table, when you have everything needed, it automatically sets, or turn it into a puzzle like mini game professor Layton style. I really think little things like that would go a long way in mitigating the tedium. Also, taking care of your little sister feels a little like an escort mission. Again, I'm not at all against this, this could be great if done correctly. However, escort missions are known as some the worst gaming mechanic out there, mainly due to bad A.I. or annoying level or situation design. So I strongly recommending taking great care in how it's done. Maybe treat her like an extra party member or someone that helps you in different ways (like her being small enough to crawl through small spaces, or be support during battle) Finally, the gameplay already looks great, but I'm curious if you might look into implementing some mechanics from games Final Fantsy 7 Remake's tactical mode vs combat mode. Or maybe the option to answer to certain dialog like in the persona games. (the answers don't have to have lasting consequences, just maybe a funny little joke or if the writers can't decide what dialog they want to add in) Overall, I think this game has the potential at being a really great game, and I'm hoping everything goes well for it. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store, and I wish you all the best.
That new voice actor means either one of the sisters will be replaced (which I doubt), or there is a new voiced character (which I think will be quite a major one).

I do like this but I have a few concerns; 1. Will, there be a setting to turn down the brightness and the particle effects? They seem a bit overwhelming and will be a bit distracting. 2. The combat seems to take a little... long? Idk I think enemy health may be a little too high or your attacks don't do a lot of damage. Other than that I love the approach you took with this I like the idea that at its base you're just trying to take care of and look after your little sister while having to survive in a very hostile environment.
I was wondering how the creator got the name for the two sisters, so I went into a small research and found out Astrum's name actually means star in Latin (there are several other words for star in Latin, such as Stella, Sidus, Lumen, and Adstrum, all which can be used as names), while I haven't yet to find the place of origin and meaning for Krinita. As for the game, and the characters' interaction, it's just simply... Amazing. Also, why would they be alarmed to see a Perkali enter the room? He's just a simple waiter who wants to do his job
During the fight she was just standing there. Look into what bioshock infinite did with the companion. She should be annoying but not as much, it's still a game, shouldn't be a chore. :D I love it regardless keep up the good work!
You will probably fix it but the Camera looks like hell to deal with form here. Perhaps add a first person mode option? I feel that would be good for tight areas.
Perhaps add an option of character story select. Example, On one side your character is a mare alicorn taking care of her sister, and perhaps add another option for a stallion alicorn taking care of his brother. Essentially a gender selection.
Especially since this world has handles and utensils made for creatures with HANDS? Though even if hooves don't work like that here (as the realism seems to suggest), at least unicorns and Alicorns use magic for that kind of stuff.

Are you trying to do the same as Red Dead Redemption 2 and makes us love all the principal characters and then... (because all that fishing, hunting and talking with people in rdr2 makes us feel more natural) this will be amazing!
Okay, I am not going to lie, I need a better computer to play this. I downloaded the most recent demo, and my rig lags hard. Now with that said, I am really looking forward to when this game is officially released.
The game is great, but not enough details affecting perception. I played at DEMO 3, and there I noticed that. You know, if add some details, like a animation for wings, when you in the air, for example, because now wings are static, and that looks awful. Or ambient sounds like birds singing, or wind noise. As I said, game is great, and I waiting for it, but it still looks... looks bad. I have feeling that this game in developing only a few months. I know that developing is the really hard process. I know that on my own experience. And I Respect you for that. But I wish you will not release the unfinished game. I'm shure, many bronys are waiting for this game too. Because it can be the first game in MLP Setting wicht doesn't feel like cheap indie

This is a game I wish I could have on Christmas. This game is so different so unique that it honestly blew my mind.
First of all, HUGE congrats on the new development system! I'm so glad things have gotten less chaotic and toxic!
Second, while I wasn't a huge fan of the tedious tasks in babysitting your sister, especially since it contrasts so much with the combat, it's starting to grow on me. Especially if you'll get a huge variety of options to get creative with, and not just doing the same things over and over without variation. I'm also curious to see how the relationship building with your sister actually affects gameplay and narrative.
Plus, the environments, while the snow on the ground bugs out currently, looks visually STUNNING, and has a lot of interesting visual direction of telling what happened. Though I don't know how doing the who table and cooking mechanics will be manageable in different locations that wouldn't have kitchens or dinning rooms. Unless there's other ways to feed your sister, which would be good for variety of options.
However, while you're working on this project, I have a few notes.
- If the those rocks and sticks really have no use, get rid of them. They're amusing for dialogue and character establishment, but bad for gameplay to have useless items.
- Similarly, don't have so many physics objects and cupboards to search through, if there's going to be so many duplicates (forks, plates, clothes, etc). It's not fun when you're searching for a specific item, but keep finding the same cups for the 10th time, unless you'd need to stock up on them.
- Give the player the option to move faster when indoors. Yes, it's hard to control your character in small rooms, but slowly walking around when tending to your sister just starts to become a chore.
- Try designing the babysitting tasks with less physics, and more just placing items where they'd need to be. It can become annoying to fight with the physics when you're just trying to manage your items, cook, or setting up a table. Having the items save in your inventory, and placing them where they need to be, is much more stream-lined, and also can save the trouble of bugs (characters not approaching plates cause they're misplaced, items getting stuck when you were using them, and so on).
- Give the dodge a cooldown, so you don't just spam it. If there already is a cooldown, and I missed it, my bad.
- Design a more noticeable lock on during combat, so the player can tell which enemy he/she's attacking.

About the dodge cooldown, for me personally I enjoy Action-RPG games where the dodge doesn't have a cooldown (when it's all part of a balanced battle system accounting for it), because I like to be able to have that absolute control and sensation of freedom, moving around an enemy while calculating its movements/pattern. Now of course I can see why in some games a cooldown on the dodge could be relevant. I guess I don't know enough about Ambient.White to tell, but I just thought I'd add that ^^

I think sticks and stones could have their uses if they wanted to, either to be thrown or used to build fires.
If the sticks and stones are used for dialogue and character establishment then they aren't useless.

Otherwise, they're kinda wasting processing power with having to always render the physics of the sticks and stones that you'll never use.
I can't wait till this game is complete. It will be one of my favorite mlp based games ever made. On Par with Fallout Equestria. If I had the money or the talent to help I would most definitely help. I want to see this game at its most finest. But most of all, to all of the creators working on it, don't over work yourself. We care for your health more than the game. You make the game complete.

From the world environment to the short plot you gave us. I can not help but feel that this game is following the philosophy of Terranigma (SNES)
I explain;
In the world of Terranigma we are told that there are
two worlds; one of light and one of darkness
Our protagonist (Ark) lives in the world of darkness and due to a mistake that the mission now has to revive his people, but he discovers that there is another world outside which has gone through many atrocities and then undertakes a journey to restore the world where nothing exists (Time, flora, fauna and life)
But with the passage of time he discovers that in order for the world to be completely healed, he has to sacrifice himself, since both worlds cannot exist.
And I feel that here something could happen like this, (Maybe, because it is what transmitted to me seeing the development of the game from the beginning 4 years ago)
Anyway, I am still looking forward to the development of this game and I have been very aware of its progress.
Getting this day one of release, that's for sure!

This game looks SOOOO GOOD! The graphics look amazing, I was smiling so much hearing the sisters bickered and bantered, and the gameplay looks really smooth. I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far!
I would like to make a few suggestions, however: I noticed in the part where you're making breakfast, you're needing to collect all the different little things needed to set the table. The idea itself I'm not against, it reminds me of collecting all the things needed for the raft at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts on Destiny Islands. However, I think collecting each fork and napkin individually, and then having to manually set the table would be very tedious and might turn a lot of people away. I think if you streamlined it a little. For example, instead of picking up one thing at a time, when you go into the pantry, you just pick up everything needed. Or you make the pantry like an inventory menu with all the knives, forks, napkins, etc. easily available. And when you go to set the table, when you have everything needed, it automatically sets, or turn it into a puzzle like mini game professor Layton style. I really think little things like that would go a long way in mitigating the tedium.
Also, taking care of your little sister feels a little like an escort mission. Again, I'm not at all against this, this could be great if done correctly. However, escort missions are known as some the worst gaming mechanic out there, mainly due to bad A.I. or annoying level or situation design. So I strongly recommending taking great care in how it's done. Maybe treat her like an extra party member or someone that helps you in different ways (like her being small enough to crawl through small spaces, or be support during battle)
Finally, the gameplay already looks great, but I'm curious if you might look into implementing some mechanics from games Final Fantsy 7 Remake's tactical mode vs combat mode. Or maybe the option to answer to certain dialog like in the persona games. (the answers don't have to have lasting consequences, just maybe a funny little joke or if the writers can't decide what dialog they want to add in)
Overall, I think this game has the potential at being a really great game, and I'm hoping everything goes well for it. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store, and I wish you all the best.
That new voice actor means either one of the sisters will be replaced (which I doubt), or there is a new voiced character (which I think will be quite a major one).

I do like this but I have a few concerns;
1. Will, there be a setting to turn down the brightness and the particle effects? They seem a bit overwhelming and will be a bit distracting.
2. The combat seems to take a little... long? Idk I think enemy health may be a little too high or your attacks don't do a lot of damage.
Other than that I love the approach you took with this I like the idea that at its base you're just trying to take care of and look after your little sister while having to survive in a very hostile environment.

I was wondering how the creator got the name for the two sisters, so I went into a small research and found out Astrum's name actually means star in Latin (there are several other words for star in Latin, such as Stella, Sidus, Lumen, and Adstrum, all which can be used as names), while I haven't yet to find the place of origin and meaning for Krinita.
As for the game, and the characters' interaction, it's just simply... Amazing.
Also, why would they be alarmed to see a Perkali enter the room? He's just a simple waiter who wants to do his job

You will probably fix it but the Camera looks like hell to deal with form here. Perhaps add a first person mode option? I feel that would be good for tight areas.

Perhaps add an option of character story select. Example, On one side your character is a mare alicorn taking care of her sister, and perhaps add another option for a stallion alicorn taking care of his brother. Essentially a gender selection.
Suggestion: incorporate some cartoon logic FROM A CERTAIN SHOW. Let the sisters briefly hold objects with their hooves!
Especially since this world has handles and utensils made for creatures with HANDS?
Though even if hooves don't work like that here (as the realism seems to suggest), at least unicorns and Alicorns use magic for that kind of stuff.

The game is great, but not enough details affecting perception. I played at DEMO 3, and there I noticed that. You know, if add some details, like a animation for wings, when you in the air, for example, because now wings are static, and that looks awful. Or ambient sounds like birds singing, or wind noise. As I said, game is great, and I waiting for it, but it still looks... looks bad. I have feeling that this game in developing only a few months. I know that developing is the really hard process. I know that on my own experience. And I Respect you for that. But I wish you will not release the unfinished game. I'm shure, many bronys are waiting for this game too. Because it can be the first game in MLP Setting wicht doesn't feel like cheap indie
