It's been a bit since I watch siren stuff but I feel the need to comment here. Sad to see lansing's system has finally met its end, but it was their time to go. Its going to be pretty cool with those new equinoxes though, that's definitely going to be a cool system
Sad to see this system come to a end! Amazing video but the Thunderbolts don’t sound like their in the best condition but the Equinoxes will be good replacements
Yeah this is a better older siren than most of Lansing but the rest of their old sirens can just rest in trash as that’s where they belong. Hope they don’t mess up their equinox’s lmfao
@@CentralOHSirens what I meant by that is the air wasn’t moist when I woke up that morning and instead was dry causing me to get a sore throat and runny nose.
Was this it’s confirmed last test? As I heard the equinox was there a week before this was recorded…so there is a chance they aren’t gonna hook it up to the system just yet. But I’m glad to see them get rid of their wonky thunderbolts that have blower problems! At least this is ok but still. That doesn’t make it maintenance free and give it battery backup
Wow, that’s amazing, the 2001 in the zoom out shot is fucking cool! Nice
I’m sad. I’m sad.

Aww not as sad as Darien but it is still a little sad seeing a cool thunderbolt being replaced
way sadder than Darien wtfym

rip bolt. That second shot tho.
That second shot is 👌
Thank you!
Kinda sounds like the Grand Rapids Thunderbolt downtown.
Why would they decommission a thunderbolt that still works? They did the same thing to Darien the hurricane
went here earlier this month.. siren is still in the same position
R.I.P. Thunderbolt.
Yep. It's better for Lansing anyways though, considering how garbage a lot of the old system sirens are.

Awesome Video!

Nice, I'll say that.
Nice!
Thanks!
Will the STH-10 at the state Capitol be staying or is there an equinox nearby?
Likely will be staying as it's owned by the state
@@WolverineStateSirens It's going
What will they do with the old ones?
@SirenTube most likely they’re going to the west shore services junkyard
When it winds down, did they cut the power going to it?
Nope. Low agastat.
@@WolverineStateSirens probably no agastat
