I would like to see it in a 40 gallon, two twentys together and a nice stand.
I would add some kind of valve on the back chamber so the two sides could communicate, so one side would be a macroalgae garden tank/refugium and the other a reef.
Neat idea would be awesome as two 40 breeders split 80 gallons total

Love the idea of side by side fresh/salt but it seems like you would get salt creep into the freshwater, maybe a brackish/saltwater system would be cool.
Renton Bray you do know most freshwater fish benefit from salt in their water?
The best way to treat ick is salt and high temp!
Can you connect them? Ideally I'd like the filter area in the back not to be separated and the tanks to be separated. That way I would have a nano reef and display refugium running together.

Im unsure how will it hold up....I purchased a new 40 gallon innovative marine a year ago....and year later the seal between the overflow and the tank leaked. Which is ok, as the main tank water would just fill the overflow compartment...however what if the seal leaks between both overflow boxes of this tank design? Before you know it most likely, freshwater would get into the saltwater side and vice versa. Unless it is literally 2 different tanks to unsure that would never happen....
I would just buy 2 seperate 10 gallon fusions and put them side by side....whats the difference. Peace of mind would be at ease of cross contamination. Looks like the normal $100 10 gallon innovative marine tank has been discontinued...guess people were getting the idea.

Highway fucking robbery. Nearly $300 because "muh acrylic and iron!" You can build one of these yourselves for less than 40 if you are confident enough with a caulking gun and pane cutter. Jfc.
