I have so many of these jades around my home. The whole corner of yard is carpeted with one plant. I am going to try and make something beautiful now that I’ve seen what can be done with them.

Lol I have these miniature jade plants and I just do a hard trim.. it’ll grow back out and keep trimming till you have a full canopy. It truly doesn’t take this much effort

Magnifico trabalho. Adorei. Tenho uma portulacaria e por acaso está num vaso de bonsai, porque era pequena. Está para ir para o lixo porque cresceu imenso, nunca me ocorreu que se poderia transformar num bonsai. Posso enviar foto, e o Sr ajudarme-ia a cortar para se transformar num possível bonsai??? Jades are cheap, available from big box hardware stores and of course from a nursery. Or, cheaper, snip a leaf off an existing jade and lay it in soil where it will root.

Any wire works, do I have one that doesn't rust but is white?
I used aluminium coated wire, as more softer to bend than copper wire, coated wire will not rust easily
