I have almost 100,000 miles on my Klim Krios Pro. I generally agree with your evaluation. One thing I have noticed is that in cold weather (below 35f) the Transition lens is prone to darken even in low light conditions. This is a common thing with all transition lenses, my glasses are the same way. But, when riding at night in clold weax you need to be aware of the condition. As to the top vent, I agree that it does not flow much air and needs to be blown out frequently with compressed air from the inside to clean the dust and bugs from its internal screen. I've replaced the inner liner and cheek pads on my helmet twice and it remains good to go. I'd buy another.

Does the MOA Test Kitchen ever distribute products to regular members for testing? Seems like the same people are the only ones testing some really nice stuff.

I have one , very pleased with it love the transition visor , I removed the peak because it was noisy , less so with it removed and it doesn’t really do much anyway , love how light it is and the chin strap is easy to use , I would like one of their flip front lids but not available in the U.K. as far as I know, thanks. Thanks for awesome review of Klim Krios Pro. My Transition face shield is still in box. Do you find, you can wear the Transition shield at nighttime? Overcast day? Thanks.

The Klim Krios Pro is a $800 helmet after taxes. You would expect perfection in all aspects and it's almost there BUT the visor will NOT stay where you place it. Open it up a few notches for extra air, first little dip or bump in the road and SLAM down it comes! I love everything about this helmet except the hinge plates. It is a $800 helmet WT Actual F?!
