On 5 July, 2023, I was taking photos of the beautiful rainbow clouds & heard a rooster crowing. I saw a male red junglefowl in front of the fence. It flew across the canal and landed on a tree opposite our place. I wanted to take a video of it crowing again but it didn’t crow anymore. Instead, I saw a cute squirrel came over to check out the red junglefowl (rjf). The squirrel started to call and ran up and down, trying to get as near as it could to the fowl. Initially, I thought a fight might break out. I thought maybe the red junglefowl or the squirrel might attack each other but surprisingly, both of them didn’t. Maybe the cute little squirrel was just trying to make friends with the red junglefowl. I’m not very sure if it was just 1 squirrel or a few squirrels 😂
It was my first time seeing a red junglefowl inside our place, though I have seen them many times outside and in parks.
