@@idkwhyieventryanymore ok, i thogut the molotov was before lighting it so cs 2 made more sense, i stand corrected but the bullet holes are not visible because the door works different now, it bends when you hit it and after enough hits a hole is made, it is more realistic.
It was the same with csgo, things will get better.
I find it hilarious how they missed obvious details to add in yet add the more obscure details XD
It would leave a bullethole from an 9mm, so most of you guys are just dumb💀 they didn't add water because they removed maps with water going above your legs, so maps like mirage only have suface physics, CS2 made it through the gameplay part, you don't pull out molotov already ignited, you ignite it then throw
That water effect in the shoe make you loose 50 to 100 fps

Cs2 underwater has nothing yet because there are no official maps where you can go underwater without being outside the map. Expect that to change at a later date (obviously)
De_pool_party workshop map you can test it out and you will get underwater effect

To be fair nobody told them to hurry , also unlike previous cses they didnt make it from scratch, they had to at least give players everything they had in csgo.

cs go i had 500fps and cs2 I have 400. it runs amazingly well.. also I notice the better the graphics the more FPS i get

are u srs? its not well optimized at all. overwatch 2 for example looks better and has way more graphically intensive things going on and i don't go below 200 fps on that playing at 1080p. cs2 however my fps jumps between 100 and 200 playing on 4:3 lowest possible settings the game looks like complete garbage.@@JaelleJaen

For some reason I had never played CS GO before and I started playing CS 2. Now I play CS Source.
This reloading under water was the best 😂
As a thousands hour player i dont care the graphics. We always set it to low details. 😂😂😂😂
It's terrible, the developers are trying to achieve good graphics for the players, and you turn everything to the minimum... However, the choice is still yours. And, probably, when you’ve been playing a game for more than a thousand hours, it may no longer matter what graphics you play on, when the game becomes like work (hello e-sports!).

i think people miss out that these are visual things, and the game is fairly recent so it doesnt have some of the details that csgo had. they will most likely come soon, but the visual appeal of cs2 is awesome

They added some amazing little details, like the eye movement, and the projector on office casting super realistic shadows, but also seem to have forgotten super basic things, like bullet holes on breakable doors

It does, you need to put the right brush for it in Hammer. Theres no point having swimmable water in an area you cant play in for optimization. Swimming underwater in CS2 is still wack tho.
Also, swimming in CS2 is broken as you can't ascend or descend.
Its not usable because its NOT IN A PLAYABLE SPACE, no need for effects there, wait for the damn house map with the shore.

For anyone wondering, CS2 has no underwater animation because CSGO had danger zone which you could go underwater in but CS2 doesnt.

Despite every development that has occurred in the CS series, I prefer the old csgo better than CS2, until now I still have three versions in a special folder, including CSS, CSGO, and even CS 1.6. For CSGO, I downloaded a mod that allowed me to change the old (original) animation. to a new animation for reloading the weapon, as well as changing the sizes and sounds of the weapons and making them suitable and nice , so they became as if they were more realistic than before, as the sound and echo of their gunfire became excellent and the method of reloading them became an amazing -- attractive and aggressive style !

Complaining about the underwater effect in an area that’s not even a playable part of the map is silly. The only legitimate issue I saw in this was the fire on the Molotov not showing up, the door not showing bullet holes was also a negative but at the same time, that’s something a lot of other objects still have so it’s not an engine limitation but likely a small oversight that can be fixed.
This is very cherry picked because you could easily make countless videos with all of the details added that weren’t in csgo.
Also love how people always focus on these small details instead of complaining about fatal bugs that ruin the game

Underwater is understandable BCS no dangerzone or maps where you play underwater. The Molotov fire was always very glitched in CSGO, so they probably removed it until they fix it. But there's no excuse for the missing door bullets...

3 years? What do you think they are actual AAA saps that don’t care about what they make? Do you call Half-Life Alyex an incomplete game? These are tiny details that were likely just missed and get added in later on in an engine they’re still experimenting with
Csgo has been around longer, so a lot of small changes had been added overnthe years. Cs2 is new and wont have everything instantly, the small problems will be slowly eliminated as they finish up gameplay touches

CS2 is underrated. We have no idea how big the difference will get over the years, just like with CSGO. Its got the new engine now.
CS2 is trash u say we will see the difference over the years but they gave us unplayable game so far. it was fine as long as it was a fun fact beta version where you had fun with friend for 2 matches and then came back to csgo and played normal competitive games or faceit or something and dont say csgo at the start was the same cuz game industry 15 years back wasnt the same doing things like this today is unthinkable to me and other people who put much time to understand the game and earn money by becoming good at it

the water thing is beacuse they thought that water physics didn't have any purpose in source 2, yet in source one you have games like portal 2 that sometimes utilize water

The cs2 version of phoenix was really on csgo

Cs2 was made so fast with just few engine updates.. they will add new functions and modyfications from month to month. Users are final testers of software it’s cheaper than pay for professional game testers.
