First time I smelled this frag was in 2008 - I'm from Europe at this time there weren't AF Shops in Europe, but I was a flight attendant for airfrance - anyways first time I smelled it in LA - was love at first sight. Now I m 50 years old and I still love it... I don't care if some says it's only for youngers

Fierce is a hard fragrance to explain. I worked at A&F from 2008 - 2010 and I’ve been wearing it ever since. 12 years ago I used to have people who always wanted to hug me just to smell it and I wear it to this day. I’ve been asked literally hundreds of times what I’m wearing and reactions are usually “oh wow, yeah I remember!” It’s the single best smelling fragrance in the world to me - very ahead of its time.

The scent used to last on your clothes all day. It definitely does not anymore. I’d say a strong 6 hours though

the passion you put into this video is absolutely amazing !! I've loved this cologne for YEARS! I'm a woman and I bought it for myself!! I just love to spray it once or twice on my clothing and it lasts for weeks. Gorgeous scent. So woodsy; makes me feel like I'm hugging a big, burly man. I've tested many colognes recently and they all kind of smell weird/the same. NOT THIS ONE!!! Fierce for LIFE.

Definitely this cologne was used for the store I went into this past weekend! I had to get this for my husband. SMELLS AMAZING!! Gosh, Just walking in the store I was in heaven LOL!

I remember having the vintage bottle… girls would stop me in the street. The new one doesn’t smell the same anymore.
I bought a 30ml red letter and it was completely spoiled, smelt rancid, good advice on that , also your take on the new one is spot on, just over 2hrs before a skin scent, i love the stuff and carry a spray, women have done that for years and attendants in posh washrooms have offered scents for years, fierce smells so good its worth the effort.

Nice review, thanks. I love this fragrance, unfortunately my gf dislikes it (apparently she is crazy). I got myself the dua one, which is in fact great even though it is quite expensive compared to the OG.

I just bought the 3.4 fl oz bottle smells amazing but it doesn’t last long it’s last like 4 to 5 hours but overall it smells good 9/10

1990's Vintage Abercrombie & Fitch Woods with the beige label is my favorite.
Sadly it was reformulated man, I’ve been using it for years and the new one it doesn’t stick long anymore like the old one, im a collector and this one is always in my collection although it is no longer the same.
i just bought last week.. and it doesnt stick more then 1 hour :( so fierce is dead..

I like fierce blue better, Fierce Confidence was also great unfortunately it doesn’t last long anymore. I got a 2015 bottle of confidence and it was great. 2019 bottles are way watered down of Fierce confidence regular fierce is better.

Where can I find a vintage bottle of fierce? Most of fakes obviously and I don’t want to take a chance especially when they don’t offer a return policy on eBay. Any suggestions?
The bottles I’ve purchased in the last 2 to 3 years are good but it’s not the same and they don’t last as long, I want that vintage smell
My mom's boyfriend always reeked of this stuff in the 2000s. So nostalgic. Might have to get it as a dumb reach cause Dua's fierce is far too strong to use as a dumb reach LOL

Went straight to fragrance net and got a tester of fierce and a tester of first instinct.
I was going to get some flankers but I enjoy collecting the main DNA scent first then choosing a flanker

How does your vintage red letter Fierce smell with it being so old? Still the same?

@@savagesalv I suspected that. I love AF fierce and have gotten sooo many compliments wearing it. I even bought a knockoff version in the mall that got soo many compliments. Then I order 2 bottles online at one of those fragrance sites and this stuff is gone in 10 minutes tops. I can't even smell it on myself if I try. It smells good for about 5 minutes and then it's gone. It's insane. I started looking into the difference of eau de toilette, and Parfum for fragrances in general. I thought I learned that Parfum is oil based and lasts longer while eau de toilette is water based and wears off faster. But then I wore sauvage eau de toilette and that stuff lasts on clothing for weeks, no joke. I can't wear it cause it's just too much. It chokes me out. Now I'm seeing Bleu de Chanel and they make eau de toilette, eau de Parfum, and Parfum. Now I'm trying to learn the differences. And apparently eau de toilette projects further . I'm confused. I thought because it's water based, it's weaker. I'd imagine oil based would last longer and project further.hmm...I got some studying to do I guess.
i heard mont blanc legend is almost identical to vintage fierce it’s just a bit stronger, is it true?

I used to love perfume, and bought 4 packs of this fierce back in 2004... but then in my 20s I discovered people dont really care for the perfume you wore. If youre a man. Its muscles, body, sex. Thats all people care about. Your body. People dont give any *** about the perfume you wear
Fragrance is most definitely not the most important thing. It’s probably at the bottom of the list in terms of what matters. However, it is on the list and should be considered. That’s just my opinion though. I personally love smelling great... gives me some energy. So, if it boosts your confidence, it’s a must-have. I’ve also heard from many people that the fragrance absolutely helps in terms of what people think of you. Is it needed? No. Can it help? It absolutely can.

Some colognes were banned because of their luring abilities. So scent does mean something.

Would you guys recommend this as a upgrade for Mont Blanc legend?? I like the scent alot but when testing at the mall I notice it didn't last at all. Is the scent about the same?
I would not say that it lasts much longer… but it does smell better in my opinion.

Unfortunately it is NOT worth buying it in 2020. The new ones are extremely watered and diluted with the crappy reformulation. DOESNT even last past 25 minutes. That’s not an exaggeration.
Horrible quality
Don’t listen to this guy saying buy it still, you’re paying above retail 44-58$ for a 1 and 1.7 oz of poor performing cologne.
With that said If you want to wear fierce with a good quality that lasts and for your money’s worth, buy Mont Blanc Legend or Dua Fragrance’s Fierce Clone. Mont Blanc Legend is relatively cheaper and smells extremely close to fierce but with a hard hitting lavender note.
Also, if you really want to buy fierce that much with the newer bottles buy it on eBay!! There’s sellers listing them for a lot cheaper than you’d get in the store for retail. A 1.7 oz of 2019/2020 formulation goes for 28-30$ on eBay. Def a lot more worth it don’t kill your wallet.
I appreciate your opinion. I agree that Dua #fierce is much better than the new formulations... I actually have a video on that as well.
Most bottles sold on Ebay are fakes though (expecially the underpriced ones).

Never tried the intense so I’m going to have to say the original fierce. If you’re into clones, I highly recommend #fierce by Dua. It’s stellar and just like the old batches.

Intense is pretty good but smells slightly different more mature I would say. I guess it has watermelon note added according to fragnatica. I like it but the price is steep. I got an original bottle From the A&F site for $118 in 2015. The bottle used to be silver now it’s blue and the price dropped to $98 for 1.7 oz. I think for that price you can get better fragrances but if you want to try it and have the money go ahead. The intense version in the air smells just like the normal fierce but if you smell them side by side, the intense is more dense and powerful.
Got a bottle in 2013 when inwas in 8th grade and use to have girls move to sit by me just to smell it and hug me, awesome scent I still have the bottle with maybe 10ml left out of 3.3oz, I got legend edp to scratch that itch and it's great but it's not as fresh and sweet as fierce

Sorry to hear that. They reformulate it all the time and it’s getting progressively worse performance wise. There are clones that smell very close to the old formulation. Check out my video on #fierce!
