Yeah we started this at the very beginning when we started selling these flags. Hopefully one day we will be able to purchase large quantity of boxes and get them cheaper

If you score the cardboard lightly with your knife it will fold a lot easier. Great looking flags!

You should add a second piece of cardboard to the face of the flag to prevent damage. Shippers are notorious for flinging packages.

I always use bubble wrap when I ship wooden flags. I would love to cut the cost of bubble wrap but I'm too worried the flag will arrive damaged to my customers. Have you had many flags damaged upon arrival?
Up until this year I never had any flags arrive with damage. Now if I’m going to ship a couple flags in one box I do put bubble wrap in them

Very nice. I have ideas even cheaper.. Free. In Costco they have cardboard slips. They are glad to give them to you. Its less garbage for them. Saves the environment. I custom cut them up and make boxes, signs for garage sales, decorations for party's, loads of double us es

@@EddyFamilyFarm Those cardboard slips are great for crafting. Made wishing well for baby shower, carnival games and booths. Made castle walls out of dozens of them tied together with tierods, spray painted to look like stone blocks, with towers. It was king and queen throne and castle motif. My neighbors thought I was nuts spray painting all the cardbords until I finished with flags at the towers and tied all the slips together. They had only seen the plain backs untill I turned them around. LOL. It was a castle at a beach and marina party. Thumbs ☝. Costco will save them for you if you ask, gladly.

@@EddyFamilyFarm it's a triple win situation. You get the cardboard for free. Good for you. Good for Costco, public relations. Good for environment. Reusing material. Have done this for decades. Plays for schools. Senior centers, kindergarten projects, party things.
For tables centerpieces. 6 - 8 inch high cardboard by 5-6 inches wide. Make a circle and tape on inside with double sided tape. I then go to woods or ponds and get dried flowers. Get Ribbon and make bow. Spray paint cardboard to your color liking. Tie ribbon half way up the cardboard.
Cost- time - 30 mins. Collection of flowers. 5 mins. Spray Paint. 10 minutes arranging flowers. 2 mins bow. Cost - 1.00 ribbon. 3.49 spray paint. You can also get sparkles for holiday and put on cardboard. There is a spray on glue, in hardware store, that makes it quick and easy. Looks,great in gold cardboard, and red ribbon for holidays. If wobbly on table, place round rock in center, bottom for stablility. Works every time, and disposable. I have thousands of this projects. I was class mother for decades. LOL. Even when my children weren't there. The children always loved when we made candies and little gifts. LOL.

I can ship anywhere around Oklahoma for about $15. That is a 30 x 16 3/4. I can ship the same flying to California for 40. I use United States Postal Service

Just curious what service you use to ship? I have used postal at Priority rate at just around $20 for my medium flags. I simply refuse to ship a 3 foot one.
Yeah that’s who I use United States Postal Service. It cost me About $20 to ship One from Oklahoma to California.

@@chrisisnowliftingstuff3248 I never shipped any 3 foot ones but last I estimated, between $60 and $80 postal. Depends on how small I can get it wrapped. I quit making them a few months ago. Got burnt out for awhile.

Travelswithdave Purchase a large box from Walmart. Cut the box one time late on the table put the flag long ways. And then start at one end and fold it over and then fold the sides up and tape it up and you’ll be ready to ship it

I'm Living Your Life It doesn’t happen very often we have been doing it for about three years and I think I’ve had two damaged but I just sent them another flag.
