New here... I used Octoprint with my old anycubic kobra 2. I had no control, when I tried to adjust the z-offset it would not do anything and it wuold not let me adjust the print form the printer control penal... when I tried printing it scrached the build plate... Is the upgrade good to work better with the kobra 2 max...
I was looking at the LED plugin… sticking a short LED strip above the door where my printer is at would be great. Can tell the status without having to open the room a bunch.
Did you ever do a video for the web server for the spaghetti detective? I am not finding one. I have a plex server and would love to set up my own web server for the spaghetti detective
I think if you are going to be printing a lot then you need to go to Octoprint. You get a lot of great features like remote monitoring, AI base alerting, and the ability to do remote printing.
Its a lot less trouble than working on a printer screen, Just hook up via an old mobile with octaprint installed, go to the suggested ip on the phone and you're off , loads of plugins to chose from to make it better
Content-wise this video is great. Thanks for that. But I find it very hard to watch due to how you cut video fragments together. Almost every few seconds the image jumps. It drives me crazy. So imho there’s room for improvement 🙂
Hello my friend. I followed your steps in the installation. It was fine until I installed some other plugins which generated a conflict. I uninstalled them all, and then came the problem. The Control and Temperature tabs are gone. I've tried everything. I uninstalled the program but it comes back with the same settings. I tried to find these plugins, but I can't find the right one. Can you help me on how to fix this? I can't control the machine (left, right etc. just connect). Thank you, hugs from Brazil
That is a shame. Have you tried upgrading to the latest version of octoprint? Another option might be to back up your settings and then reset octoprint and then restore your settings.

If you don't care about saving any of your personalization settings then I would recommend just reflashing your raspberry Pi's SD card with a new octopi and just starting over again.
3D printer in your BEDROOM is a BAD idea impo. 1. the fumes get into everything you are sleeping on. 2. microparticles of plastic land everywhere... Sleep tight and healthy !!! Take that thing out of your Bedroom..> OR... put it in an enclusure with active ventilation to the outdoors. Be well and happy 3D printing. PL.
That isn't my bedroom. It is my office which is also the spare bedroom. I don't think PLA outgassed harmful fumes. But an SLA printer is a different story .. It will go in my basement when I finish it and move my office.

Yeah this is a really old video I have made many changes since then! Each video is a learning experience.

For the 3d printer? I ended up just replacing the LED strips with denser WS2812B strips.

That is what the smart plug does. It turns it off...
