love your videos have helped me with the work I have done to my Ford 555A can't wait to see your 555 when it's done. looking good. thank you from Terry
In addition to setting up and equipment repair playlist on my channel to put the three videos on the breakdown, I saved your entire tractor playlist to my channel in case it would help someone else and bring them to yours
About to do the same thing to the 555 that I just bought. I purchased it knowing that it has shuttle issues. Works OK when it is cold, but as soon as the transmission gets warmed up, it won't move.
Thank you so much for making these videos, I have a ford 555b with the same issues and am currently tearing it down. How did you get the top plate off of the transmission, there is a rod coming form the forward and reverse that is running through part of that top plate and I cannot get it off.
On a 555 ford swing cylinder how do I get the line off got it lose on both ends but it is clamped to side of cylinder and can't figure out how to get it loose
I will be following you, as I just purchased a 93 655d. It's my first piece of equipment. Knock on wood. Everything works as it should, for now!

To be honest, it’s been a couple years since I did it. I know exactly what rod you’re referring to but I’m not certain how I overcame it. Sorry.

Are you referring to the cylinder that pushes the boom out or the cylinder for steering the front tires?
@@mytaborcityhome1002 The one's underneath that push the boom side to side
I’ll have to climb under mine and take a look. I’ve never swapped those out. May take a couple days but I’ll get back to you
Thanks for a good video
You are welcome
I love it too. If she leaves you, I'll drive her home.
Why don't you pressure wash the tractor , before you start working on it ?
joe doakes Haha, thought about the same thing after I started working on.
