Chuck, did you ever have to dig up a sewer line because of a extreme amount of baby wipes?

We have 85 year old cast iron waste pipes. Today a toilet started to drain super slowly. I rodded it out but hit nothing. Then another toilet started to drain slowly and sputtered. I knew there was a plug somewhere down the line. After I asked all of my kids I learned that one misunderstood a recent instruction and started to flush 2-6 non-flushable wipes every day for over a week. I tried acid. Nothing. In a desperate last attempt I used Dawn dish soap after reading about this method online. Phew! I got lucky. I could blame the kid but no. We need to provide clearer instructions. So far so good. I’ll update this in a day or so.
yeah always thought this was just common sense. Good to get the full picture behind it though. NO WIPES down the toilet
My better half loves them...I keep telling her when it clogs your paying big dollars to Daddio!!

I actually just showed my wife and kids this,my wife replied,ours are flushable lol,(she has a answer for everything)I told her next we have a clog I’m not doing it call rotor rooter lol

install a universal "bidet" attachment. solved, no wait, many women use them for makeup also >_>
flushable wipes eventually break down, as they pass through (CLOG) "lift pumps" and other sewer plants machinery, in septic tanks they just form a big hard layer on top until it blocks the inlet tee/elbow/pipe then you get to pay for septic pumping which they hate when it full of that junk and snaking both ;0
The only reason I never killed my daughter in law over baby wipes is because I didn't want to go to prison.
