THIS is the Jazz Club! Your modifications add way more life and personality to the building.
Thank you soooo much!!! 🤩
Holy cow, This is amazing! The few adjustments that you’ve made, makes it look so much more unique. I can’t wait for your instructions. Are there any other Modulars that you would consider adjusting?
Thank you so much!!! I am very happy with the final look!!! You know, I haven’t really given it much thought, do you have any modulars in mind?
This is what it should have looked like in the first place and now I’m considering keeping it to do your mods instead of selling it
Thank you!!!! I’m so happy you’re giving the set a second chance!!!
I definitely prefer your version. Many of the old houses and pubs in Brisbane where I live also have wide open verandahs to catch the breeze on those hot tropical nights.
Ohh! Thank you so much! I am definitely a fan of this architectural detail 🤩
Can’t wait to buy the instructions for your wonderful additions!
Thank you so much!!! 🤩
i love this. new orleans is one of my favorite cities in the united states. i would love an entire new orleans lego city.
Thank you so much!!! I’ve actually never been but it’s very high on my “places to travel” list 🤩
This is completely spectacular!! If this is what the Modular had looked like when released, I would have been much more compelled to purchase it!! Another change I would make is to ditch the “pizza” joint … and modify it as a “BBQ and Soul Food” restaurant! That would pair much better with a Jazz Club IMHO! What LEGO city needs yet another pizza joint!?! 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you so much!!! Oh that’s actually a really cool concept!!! Would be cool to see how that would translate into bricks 🤔🤩
Yeah, I think one could have chicken pieces, hot dog pieces for “links”, dark orange & Dark red 1x1 round bricks for BBQ sauce, Pie with Bright Light Yellow Cream Filling Pattern (p/n 93568pb002) for sweet potato pie and much more 👏😁
@@thomashayes507 THAT SOUNDS BRILLIANT!!! I might need to see what parts I have for this to mess around with the idea 🤩
That looks super awesome
Thank you so much!!!
Great job!
Thank you so much!
It would be interesting to see the iterations to see why you went the way you did 😊
There are actually very few iterations as I had a pretty clear idea of what I was looking for but I will definitely look into making an instagram post about the process!!!
@@skyguy365 Sounds great! Love what you did to the set! 😊
@@brickblums thank you so much!!!
I think I'm gonna do this in conjunction with the moc that turns this set into a corner building. this looks great.
Ohhhh I would love to see that!!! Thank you so much!!!
looks amazing 🔥
Thank you!!! 🤩
Really nice ! Waiting for the instructions :) Looks much better like that !
Thank you so much!!! Instructions will be taking a little longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances!!!
@@skyguy365 No problem, I still have plenty of other modulars to build ;)
@skyguy365 : I saw you put them on Rebrickable, that's great, I'll buy them asap :)
@@hansdegeytere thank you so much!!! 🤩🤩🤩 really helps the channel out!!!
I love this so much, I actually skipped the jazz club as I didn’t love the look but this has changed my mind! Looks spectacular ❤
WOW thank you so much!!! It makes me happy to hear this has made you change your mind cause in reality it is a pretty cool set!!!
@@skyguy365 I really liked your association with the jazz and New Orleans it makes so much sense to me and I’m actually surprised Lego didn’t do this as I feel it’s missing in the modular lineup and is such iconic architecture so I just love this modification.
@@Brandenonline thank you!!! I know right?! When I first heard they were doing a Jazz Club my mind instantly went to that style of architecture and I feel like thats why the actual set disappointed me so much, cause I had something completely different in mind! But that’s the beauty of LEGO! If you don’t like something… you can change it 🤩!!! So glad you like the MOD
@@skyguy365 so true, I think I struggle with that cause I enjoy following the instructions so much it’s v therapeutic because you get the feeling of being creative because you are making something without having to be creative if that makes sense so I love watching videos etc to remind me you can do anything with it. Will definitely be looking up your instructions when you publish them 😄
@@Brandenonline I totally get it! I also love to build LEGO to just relax, without thinking too much! But I also like to set these fun little challenges from time to time! Really depends on the mood 🤣. Oh awesome!!! Thank you!!! I hope to have them up soon!!!
OMG Albert-I love it! You brought up some good points I hadn't thought about regarding this modular. I'm planning on buying this during black friday and was thinking about changing the azure blue to either dark blue or dark green. But I really like the addition of the wrought iron balconies. I'll look out for your instructions. I had given up ever trying to do a lego city due to lack of space in my home. But in August came up with a great solution to that problem so am city bound again. Lol Just got Assembly Square this weekend taking advantage of insider deals. I'll post some photos on Instagram in December when I have some time on my vacation. Anyway, great job and great timing on the Jazz Club modification!! Cheers 😊
Thank you Ronnie!!! I also considered a color change for the dark azure! But it was just too many pieces 🙈 maybe in the future! OMG THATS GREAT!!! I can’t wait to see what your final set up looks like! LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!! 🤩
Love, love & love this! Fab job SkyGuy :)
Thank you so much shroom!!! 🤩
❤❤❤
I love this take on the Jazz Club! I too was not a fan at all of the Jazz Club when Lego came out with it, but this would have elevated it so much! New Orleans influences would have made it far more enticing. Can't wait to see it in your Lego city! 😁
Thank you so much!!! I agree, they went for the safer option I think, but the set is still really cool!!! Lot’s of fun details!!! I am very much looking forward to sharing how it looks in the city 😁
The only thing missing are beads hanging off the railing...
Amazing moc!! Es perfecto 👌🏻
Thank you so much!
It looks very good, well done! 🎉 I’m quite impressed 😊
Thank you so much!!! 😁🎉
