@Kevin Ramadhan sacrifice 1 of your monsters to destroy 2 of opponent's cards. In Swordsoul's case, sometimes if you choose Chengying, you basically sacrifice nothing.
@Kevin Ramadhan Icarus Attack is one of the most famous cards in YGO history. Any effect that tribute 1 to destroy 2 remind us of that card. It's like how people say "ROTA" for effect that adds a card from the Deck to the hand or "Garnet" for bricks.
Nice vid! Now we can see more variation on ranked with some of the new archetype, even tho seeing DPE everywhere is ridiculous. Ngl this deck has a cool looking art and fun to play against with as long as Archnemeses Protos isn't involved especially since they can search it with Emergence.
Its cool to see everyone run their own variation of the deck. I run the Dpe package with a bit more hand traps so i can go first or second. This deck is pretty fun and going against the mirror match is a challenge
@Free Sin i would much rather play a Swordsoul player than a Drytron Herald player. Like please stop it . If it makes you happy i dropped DPE to play a more pure Swordsoul variant with 4 Tenyi’s.
@Free Sin nah nothing about your skepticism. I just think Swordsoul in master duel is the less toxic meta deck. Drytron Herald being # 1, Edlich # 2 , and Sky Strikers Tied with Tribrigade Zoodiac at 3. But even the tribrigade players are playing DPE now. Which might make them tied for 2nd. I havent played a Sky striker DPE deck to gage but i assume they maybe worse
Finally a change in the meta. It will be a matter of time before we get sick of ss tenyi though lol. It's a relatively easy deck to handle while also being extremely versatile. Not only that but it is fun to play and play against! Unlike other meta decks like zoodiac/tri and eldlich. Easy tier 1 on master duel. Any deck involving aleister or shaddoll is null against it due to big boy synchro and Protos. Rhongo and VFD will remain a problem though until they get banned. We'll soon start seeing it top tournaments just like in tcg.

i was pleasantly surprised to see swordsoul and despia in the same pack, i get to kill 2 decks with one million gems, lets go!!, also i got dpe on my first pull
Worst part is that all main monsters but Mo Ye are Rare. I think that's a bit messed up, even Ecclesia is SR (and that's understandable, since she can search both Swordsoul and Albaz cards, which may come up later in pure Despia), but oh well, can't complain much by having Longyang and Taia as low rarity, right?
Plus She tutors out Iris Swordsoul which pops one extra deck Summon per turn when if one is summoned, let's you Pot of Greed if summon from the deck occurs, and summon a Level 4 such as Albaz if the opponent tries Special from Hand
In case we open with 2 kaiju. We can give them the turtle and summon kumongus to handle the turtle. Kumongus can we replaced with any kaiju. But it's 2400 atk is not that hard to handle.
Consistency, non target banish, can go through interruptions, synergies (Mare Mare, Protos is banned because of them) And believe me, they aren't the craziest deck out there, this is just the beginning

DID I LEAVE ANYTHING OUT! OH YEAH THE SACRED BEASTS AND EGYPTIAN GODS! Well I wanted to save up more but with the current two decks that I have that are actually somewhat competitive I am not going to survive this festival let alone get everything in this environment. Right now I'm at a crossroads. There is a gem sale going on and I plan on making use of it. With a certain ritual spell card I have and want to try out I can create that infamous Blue-Eyes deck with Chaos MAX along with any and all Blue Eyes monsters that comes with it. Or the archetype that I have been eyeing for a while and that is the True Dracos and I have some continuous traps that I could probably work with. However, I did get the Worm Archetype recently in my attempts to get Nibiru and I do have Worm Zero. Either I fight fire with fire or I don't fight fire with fire. Of course I'll still be utilizing those three trial decks which are the Frightfur, Destiny HERO, and Predaplant Decks since I can't NOT play those and I did say I wanted to see how much the Destiny HERO archetype has changed since the Arc-V era. I never thought I feel this much dread for a Master Duel Festival. But this is a good opportunity to fix up my Evil HEROs and finish my Ancient Gear deck with the gems I am going to get.

The strongest thing I found in this deck is Cyberdark end + dragon slayer tuner.

Kumongus can we replaced with any kaiju. But it's 2400 atk is not that hard to handle.

我自己覺得這個環境沒了龍輝巧反而海龜變少了欸，畢竟鳳凰兩張廢件可能上手，剩下的牌最好要能夠展開（閃刀鳳凰廢件上手很尷尬，但神抽融命大概直接T0），最近丟手坑的成功率感覺不到10%，放滿劍指墓指的變超多，我閃刀卡組真正能讓對方停牌的反而是屋敷
解鳳凰最簡單就是海龜，比起一滴什麼的還沒有對面二速自爆躲掉的煩惱。
