  • Robinson topped 1,000 yards from scrimmage last season, rushing for 733 yards on 178 attempts, while catching 36-of-43 targets for 368 yards. He scored a total of nine touchdowns and finished the season as RB19 in PPR scoring. Robinson appeared in 51 percent of the offensive snaps, accounted for 56 percent of the team’s rush attempts, and eight percent of the target share, averaging 14.7 opportunities per game. We definitely would like to see a few more opportunities per game from his this year, but if this is his floor, we are still getting a nice price on him considering that he proved to produce RB2 numbers with that kind of volume.
The team added Austin Ekeler this offseason, but this changes very little for me when it comes to Robinson, as I expect Ekeler to operate more as a change of pace/pass catching back. Robinson should operate as the early down back for Washington, as well as be their primary red zone back. After all, he led the team in red zone rush attempts last season, with 26, being the only player in Washington with double-digit RZ rush attempts in 2023.
I’m not expecting Robinson to emerge as one of the best running backs in football this season by any means, but I am viewing him as an RB2 this year, and we are paying an RB3 price for him.
