I had a dream last night.i was in church in worship time and this beautiful ring fell down at my feet. I picked it up with such admiration and then i heard this voice asking if I was the bride. This startled me as I am a man. Ive been studying and this has helped reveal the true meaning. Thank you.

There is the Spiritual bride and the physical bride. The spiritual bride is the body of Christ that comprises all saints of all time of Jew and gentile both. The physical bride comes out of the body. All saints are glorified spiritually in one with Christ in the first resurrection ( revelation). We see two resurrections prophesied in revelation and Daniel: one to everlasting life and one to everlasting contempt. The physical bride too is glorified spiritually in Christ in the first resurrection. But no scripture will return to God void. Therefore the passage of "he shall leave father and mother and cleave unto His wife and become ONE FLESH," also has to be fulfilled. This is fulfilled by the physical bride. This is the revelation 12 and Proverbs 8 woman.

What if one follows Jesus's word due to fear of punishment when death comes? I don't personally feel this fear too much, but many good people I know feel this I think
Bible says perfect love casts out fear. If someone is afraid of God (not same as being in awe of God) they should spend time trying to see the love He has through Christ. The actions of Christ display a love that casts out fear of punishment because He bore our punishment. I think of it like a woman being scared of her husband- if I was afraid of Him I could still be married but may not want to be close or intimate. Fear of punishment or abuse isn’t God’s ways. To break off the “fear lens” we need to get a new perspective of Him... and through the actions of Christ we get that clear perspective. He is merciful and we don’t have to fear anymore because the blood of Jesus speaks for us on the mercy seat....

Hi Pushda, thanks for the comment. We always have to consider multiple verses in order to understand a topic and not draw conclusion from one single verse. Spirit = Holy Spirit ( who is on the earth in the believers) + Bride ( The believers who have the Holy Spirit). Both ask Jesus to come. In the next verse it says that "someone" offer water of life for free. If we read other bible passage you will see that only Jesus/ God can do this. Not the bride. Hope this helps! God bless.
Ok now this goes very much into detail, but basically this chapter explains the difference between law (Israel) and grace (Church). The Galatians had fallen back from Grace in to Law. Israel is the earthly bride while the church is heavenly (Phil 3:20). Many are the children of the desolate (the New Testament Church made up in the greater part from the Gentiles, who once had not the promise, and so was destitute of God as her husband), more than of her which hath an (Greek, 'THE') husband (the Jewish Church having GOD for her husband, Isa 54:5 Jer 2:2 )." Numerous as were the children of the legal covenant (Israel), those of the Gospel (Church) are more so. The force of the Greek article is, "Her who has THE husband of which the other is destitute." How can a woman be a bride to her bridegroom and also a wife at the same time. How can I be a wife of Jesus and a bride at the same time. This is very conflicted.
Here’s something that might give some clarity. First, I am not the bride (the whole church is). I’d say there are 2 views, from a human point of view, we are the bride (we’re not the wife yet) but from a spiritual perspective, we are already in heaven, married to Christ. It’s a little bit like Paul's teaching that we are "alive and dead". In Romans, we see humans as living in sin (human point of view) so they need to die. In Ephesians, humans are seen as dead to sin (heavenly perspective) so they need to now live for the Lord … If you really want to get to the bottom of this, take the whole new testament and check every time the words bride and wife are mentioned in Greek and see if you can find an explanation.

There is the Spiritual bride and the physical bride. The spiritual bride is the body of Christ that comprises all saints of all time of Jew and gentile both. The physical bride comes out of the body. All saints are glorified spiritually in one with Christ in the first resurrection ( revelation). We see two resurrections prophesied in revelation and Daniel: one to everlasting life and one to everlasting contempt. The physical bride too is glorified spiritually in Christ in the first resurrection. But no scripture will return to God void. Therefore the passage of "he shall leave father and mother and cleave unto His wife and become ONE FLESH," also has to be fulfilled. This is fulfilled by the physical bride. This is the revelation 12 and Proverbs 8 woman.

What if one follows Jesus's word due to fear of punishment when death comes? I don't personally feel this fear too much, but many good people I know feel this I think
It's fear that often drives people to God. Fear is not a only a negative thing. Meditate how fear is important in our day to day life. It's even vital
Bible says perfect love casts out fear. If someone is afraid of God (not same as being in awe of God) they should spend time trying to see the love He has through Christ. The actions of Christ display a love that casts out fear of punishment because He bore our punishment. I think of it like a woman being scared of her husband- if I was afraid of Him I could still be married but may not want to be close or intimate. Fear of punishment or abuse isn’t God’s ways. To break off the “fear lens” we need to get a new perspective of Him... and through the actions of Christ we get that clear perspective. He is merciful and we don’t have to fear anymore because the blood of Jesus speaks for us on the mercy seat....

Hi Pushda, thanks for the comment. We always have to consider multiple verses in order to understand a topic and not draw conclusion from one single verse. Spirit = Holy Spirit ( who is on the earth in the believers) + Bride ( The believers who have the Holy Spirit). Both ask Jesus to come. In the next verse it says that "someone" offer water of life for free. If we read other bible passage you will see that only Jesus/ God can do this. Not the bride. Hope this helps! God bless.
Ok now this goes very much into detail, but basically this chapter explains the difference between law (Israel) and grace (Church). The Galatians had fallen back from Grace in to Law. Israel is the earthly bride while the church is heavenly (Phil 3:20). Many are the children of the desolate (the New Testament Church made up in the greater part from the Gentiles, who once had not the promise, and so was destitute of God as her husband), more than of her which hath an (Greek, 'THE') husband (the Jewish Church having GOD for her husband, Isa 54:5 Jer 2:2 )." Numerous as were the children of the legal covenant (Israel), those of the Gospel (Church) are more so. The force of the Greek article is, "Her who has THE husband of which the other is destitute." I understand this can be confusing. God uses a lot of symbolic pictures in his word to help us understand what kind of relationship he is seeking with us. Take this more as a symbolic. This helps you also understand that there can be more than one used.

How can a woman be a bride to her bridegroom and also a wife at the same time. How can I be a wife of Jesus and a bride at the same time. This is very conflicted.
I believe bride means engage...and when married the terms becomes wife..sexual passion time in wife.
Here’s something that might give some clarity.
First, I am not the bride (the whole church is).
I’d say there are 2 views, from a human point of view, we are the bride (we’re not the wife yet) but from a spiritual perspective, we are already in heaven, married to Christ.
It’s a little bit like Paul's teaching that we are "alive and dead". In Romans, we see humans as living in sin (human point of view) so they need to die. In Ephesians, humans are seen as dead to sin (heavenly perspective) so they need to now live for the Lord …
If you really want to get to the bottom of this, take the whole new testament and check every time the words bride and wife are mentioned in Greek and see if you can find an explanation.
