The PACE Difference: Lynda Ori, Alumni 2023

Linda Ori, a proud PACE alumna from Nigeria, talks about her amazing journey in the Public Relations, Marketing, and Communications program at the University of Winnipeg PACE. She graduated in 2023, and her time at PACE was not only fun but also very important for her career growth.
“PACE provided the opportunity for me to volunteer at CPRS Manitoba as a student liaison on the board, which was really helpful to introduce me to industry professionals and connect me to experts in Winnipeg,” Linda says. “The comprehensive curriculum, real-life experiences, and case studies connected me with the industry and built me for the workplace.”
Linda’s story shows how important it is to make friends and volunteer. She got a job five months before graduating and is doing great in her career.
Her advice to current PACE students? “Networking is very key. Do not underestimate the importance of building strong relationships and networks. Also, try to volunteer-it connects you to industry professionals and sets you up for progress in your career.”
