How do you feel about the 3 letter system. The lien?

That is lawful process, it is not legal, those are 2 very different things. legal is where "claimant" has to dance and persuade "judge" that he is entitled to something without any proof of anything just complaining. At court of law you bring claim and would bring facts and what is true to court and ideally it would be trail by jury. (not jury trail)
