Cpl. Chris Esckelson, KIA 12-28-2006, Fallujah Iraq, my older brother, protector, hero, badass marine, and greatly missed, God bless this amazing country and those who have given their lives for it, words can't express the gratitude I have in my heart for are fallen soldiers!
Let they be honored forever. I am a Christian, not a pagan, but I will say that every one of these fallen warriors have earned a place in the Plains of Elysium. I love them all. 🇺🇸
My grandfather's best friend, Johnny Stewart, USAAF, killed in action over Italy in 1943. My stepfather's friends, US Army, KIA in Vietnam, 1968-1969. My brother's friend, Stephen New, US Army, KIA in Afghanistan, 2013. We owe them and everyone who has given their life for us a debt that can never be repaid.
Semper Fidelis, my Brothers and Sisters, from ALL services. A good friend of mine, Ssgt John Howard, died in a helicopter crash, Aug 2004, Iraq. Many of those I served with in Combat Cargo, 15th MEU on yhr Bellau Wood were infantry, and some also passed on to Valhalla. We have lost many, and I pray every day that their lives were not given in vain. God Bless those who served, God Bless those who perished, and God Bless the USA.
We pray that the strife, battles and wounds of war be calmed for eternity in God's loving grace. May you find rest at last and know that those left behind cherish your spirit, honor your commitment, send their love and will never forget your sacrifice.
Logan Andrew Tuttle, USAF. RIP 10 Sep 2018. In the modern age, where you can see when someone is online or not, almost every day I am reminded of the loss of an amazing friend. God bless you man... I miss you more than words can describe.
James Pirtle. My friend. May your sacrifice never be forgotten. Although I never agreed with the war being waged I will always agree that you were a hero for serving in the United States Army. I will always honor your memory. May you rest easy friend.
God keep our heros. God keeps us thankful for their sacrifice. May their courage, honor, and passion for our freedoms, never be forgotten, never be taken for granted, and never be made light of. We owe them more than we will ever be. God bless your families. Thank you. I salute you.
My family remembers the fallen of the USS Arizona. We have a family member still on that ship. Thank you BRCC for this . I know it is a tough time for the fine people working there. God bless you. God bless America.
It is because of men like these that we are free to live our lives the way we please. It is because of men like these that we are able to sleep safely at night. God bless. Beloved, let us love one another..
Beautifully done…very sobering of what Memorial Day truly means. Names have power, names put humanity to a statistic, reading the names out loud means we do not forget. I cried at this and am so grateful for men of such valor that they gave their lives that I live free and comfortable. Much respect for y’all doing this. Words seem so inadequate, but thank you.

On April 19, 2022 we landed in D.C. and spent the day..We owe the fallen so very much and we must never forget them..God Bless Brothers..

Keep them in your thoughts today but remember they gave so the rest of us can live. Honor them today and every other day by enjoying the time you have on this rock. Best friend, Sergeant First Class Bernie Deghand , Helmand Province, Afghanistan April 2006, took quite a few with him to the other side. Ten others on that list , Rest In Peace , see you soon.
Private Lawrence “Larry” Gowell II. A great friend of my dad’s. Died on leave due to a drug overdose in Litchfield, Maine. July 15, 2009. He had a pain in his leg and tried taking him to the hospital. He refused since he just got home. Few days later he died. It was just after his first tour in Iraq too
I'm not one to tear up but this did it. Having lost my brother 2010, who was a Marine in Kandhar. Breaks my heart, so many young men & women lost to soon. It's not just Memorial Day but everyday I think of them 🇺🇸
I was at Kandahar Airfield for 22 months between 2009-2011 It was a really hot time (combat wise) during the war because of the surge. This Video gives me chills every time I've watched it which is multiple times and day since they released, over half of these guys were KIA in Kandahar Province or Helmand Province both of which I spent a majority of my time running the roads. I didn't know your brother but I don't have to to shed tears for him. ✝️ Sorry for your loss. 🇺🇲
Thanks to Black Rifle for a sec, I'm gonna use your platform here. Blake Creel, Cpl Type; 3/7. Motorcycle accident Highway 62. We got to know each other on deployment. He made some great music we used to listen to before post, and he was one of two Infantry Marines I remember that actually used the oversized chessboard they had at the embassy in Baghdad.
All gave some and some gave all, from one vet too another THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. They are a reminder that we are the land of the free because of the brave, and that there memory and sacrifice should never be forgotten 🇺🇸🇺🇸
May the men and women who had gave their lives for freedom and justice rest in eternal peace and for us to enjoy the freedoms they fought for us to keep.....Have a pleasant memorial day everyone and to everyone at BRCC
Always seems like our best and brightest are sent over seas to die, while these weasel politicians and sheeple are allowed to flourish. May these real hero's not have died in vane. Happy memorial day fellas, keep up all the work you do!
Specialist Ronald Dean Allen Jr, KIA 8/25/2003, hwy 1 Iraq. It’s been almost 20 years and I still miss my big bro. His death ate away at my family and still gets to me 19 years later. I miss you Ronnie and hope that your telling Mom, Dad, my Wife all of the stupid things we use to do as kids. God bless all of the soldiers that have paid the Ultimate Sacrifice to preserve our freedoms. Please think of them and the families they left behind this Memorial Day. Though the years make life easier to bear, the pain of that loss never goes away.
Thank you all. For sharing the pain. Horror, love, respect. For your friends, brothers, family that gave their lives and souls that we may be free in the greatest nation in the world. We are not perfect but we work to be free and the price is blood and sacrifice. These people are warriors that paid the ultimate sacrifice so we may be free. We honor all of you always. We love. Respect. And honor you all. FOREVER. 🇺🇸❤️
Its so easy to forget what all these guys have been through when we watch their funny reaction videos, podcasts, and irreverent jokes. They have all lost friends. Brothers. Sisters. They experienced an incalculable loss to civilians like us. Thank you all for all you've done. God rest your friends souls.
This is truly humbling. Myself have served, and tbh losing a battle buddy who you went through hell and back with is extremely hard. Cpl Brandon kirkton. Love you man. 11 years since you were taken. But you went down a warrior taken 6 of them with you
It's our duty to pay back the debt we owe them and our nation though we may be in tough times now we will have lighter days ahead. It is an honor to know these men had died for what they believed and had tied to protect us may God usher the dead who live with us.
God bless America and all those fallen heroes that have served and protected. Much love sent from England, UK... Gone but never forgotten. Any allied troops that fight for democracy deserve nothing but our undivided respect.
Humbled and in awe by their sacrifices. Thank you for sharing their story. That was a great way to memorialize their good friends and mentors. Gone, never forgotten!
Thank you for putting some faces on the many who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the liberties and freedoms we enjoy. This Memorial Day remember those who have given their all for us....
My material grandfather was at Ypres & my paternal grandfather & his brothers served in the Ii. I admire you for doing this. Here's to them & those like them damn few left. Thanks
My eyes swell with tears of gratitude and thanks for these warriors who have given all to give me an amazing country to live in. May God bless their souls, and may we protect what they died for as it is up to us now.
“These things we do, that others may live” This may only be the motto of Pararescue, but it could not be more true for every serviceman and woman. They are out there every day fighting so we can have our lives and rights. All give some but some give all. Hooyah and Godspeed gentlemen.
Herbert Muchow, Army, Private First Class. Lived in Pittsburgh PA. Killed in action in WWII in Loraine, France 1944 at 20 years old. Volunteered to help defeat Nazi Germany. He is buried in France
LCpl Cody J. Haley aka "The Fastest Gun in the West" Bravo Co. 1st Bn, 4th Marines. One of the koolest cats I have ever come to know and deploy with. We both spent our birthday (Oct. 21st) enroute to the Middle East for Operation Inherent Resolve and every year, I always try my best to go and pay my respects to him on his birthday, despite residing over 2k miles apart. But the trip is always worth it, and it never leaves my mind whenever I go and when I leave from visiting his final resting place. R.I.P. Cody, we got it from here!
Lost my dad from the airforce when I was barely 3 years old, my grandfather was a ww2 veteran and Korean War vet...this is the day I remember both of them
Maj Thomas Kennedy. US Army. His first assignment as a 2LT was as one of the PLs in my unit in the 82nd. Loved Hockey, played on the team at the academy. Tough as nails and fair, but one of the most subtle, funniest people I've ever met. Quick witted, sharp mind. He was a great leader, but an even greater mentor. Killed 8 August 2012, Sarkowi, Afghanistan PFC Benny Franklin. US Army. One of the crop of young guys joining my unit after we returned from OIF1. Great sense of humor, one of the most eager guys I ever knew in the service. Loved to learn new things, very driven, always had a positive mindset, and loved to laugh. Killed 7 October 2005, Kandahar, Afghanistan. LCPL Chris Lyons. USMC. Sadly, I didn't get to know him as well as I would have liked. His widow is a friend and classmate of mine from school, and the fact Bethany chose to marry him spoke volumes about his character as a man. His family and brothers in 3/25 would describe Chris as humble and hard working, he had a huge heart and loved his family and brothers. He loved to make people laugh and uplift and encourage everyone around him. He was always willing to do anything asked of him without hesitation or complaint. Killed 28 July 2005, Cykla, Iraq 1LT Michael Runyan. US Army. ... this one hurt a lot to hear about. I had his mom as a teacher in high school, and I graduated with his sister. His mom may not have been liked by a lot of students, but she cared and wanted to see everyone succeed. She was tough, but fair, and would put hours in with you outside of class if she knew you were willing to do the work. Mike and his brother and sister inherited that sense of fairness and willingness to help anyone willing to help themselves. He could change the mood of a whole room in 5 seconds with a quick joke, and his big, cheesy grin. He had an infectious personality, and was born to lead. Killed 21 July 2010, Muqdadiyah, Iraq. Maj Michael Stover. USMC. Grew up the next town over from him, and knew his family. Damn good leader. Loved his men like his own children. His whole family are the kind of people to open their door to anyone in need. Killed 3 June 2006. Taqaddum, Iraq. Spc David Jesse Garcia. US Army. The Azteca Immortal. Fucking legend in B 2/319th. One of the most beloved people in our unit. Incredibly positive, very genuine, humble, down to earth guy that loved spending time with everyone. He loved his family in and out of uniform. He didn't care what platoon you were in, or even if you were in a different unit altogether. Jesse truly believed everyone wearing the uniform was his brother or sister. Had one of the silliest, unforgettable laughs, and a warped sense of humor. Even though he was broken and hurting inside, he loved fiercely and lived voraciously. He loved traveling the country and visiting our brothers in the years after we left the service. Committed suicide 17 September 2013. Many, many more that I knew in my days in the Army or from the area I grew up in, but these 6 are the ones that always are in my heart.
This was the first I watched today upon waking up. Really put today into perspective for me, thinking of family and friends that served, some never came home. We owe more than then we really could understand. To all of these, I, thank you.
Just finished marching in my local parade with my "brothers in arms" (band buddies) this is a very cool and emotional tribute, in R Lee Ermy voice: Outstanding
Thank you I can't say I had the privilege to have met any of these men but I can't say from the bottom of my heart I am very grateful for men like them fearless warriors men that put themselves in harm's Way to protect their brothers to protect their freedom at home their families it takes a special kind of person
Edward Harris Wells. Ed, my grandfather, my grandpa, my dads favorite person ever. Served in the Korean War as a MP, went overseas to one of the camps, left when everyone else did, that’s what he said “If everyone else didn’t leave, then I wouldn’t either, but I had to when everyone else did. Died on my 2nd Birthday. 2009 February 23. 65 years earlier my Great Grandpa was serving, he was a Marine, and like most Marines, on that day he was on a dreaded Island, Iwo Jima. Watched the first flag be raised on Mt. Suribachi, was there when it was raised the second time. When he was 85 he saw me for the first time, 65 years after he raised the US Flag over Iwo Jima. Edward Harrison Wells, and Kenneth Harrison Ronsley. I am Harrison Wells, Finally had the name Harrison after 2 generations.
Thank You for your sacrifice and your service to our Country. We appreciate every day that we live free because of the bravery of others; we should honor that freedom by remembering those that gave their all. Say their names indeed.

It's our duty to pay back the debt we owe them and our nation though we may be in tough times now we will have lighter days ahead. It is an honor to know these men had died for what they believed and had tied to protect us may God usher the dead who live with us.
God bless you all. I would not be here without Men and Women such as yourselves. Thank you for everything.
God bless America and all those fallen heroes that have served and protected. Much love sent from England, UK... Gone but never forgotten. Any allied troops that fight for democracy deserve nothing but our undivided respect.
Thank you guys!! This is the most that I have cried, since my last deployment to Iraq In 2006-2007!! They will never be forgotten!
So powerful.
Thank you so much for your sacrifice. You will NEVER be forgotten
Humbled and in awe by their sacrifices. Thank you for sharing their story. That was a great way to memorialize their good friends and mentors. Gone, never forgotten!
Highlighting these heroes and their sacrifice, will always be something we do when we have the opportunity
@@BlackRifleCoffeeCompany Amen to that!!! 🥃🫡🇺🇸
Thank you for putting some faces on the many who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the liberties and freedoms we enjoy. This Memorial Day remember those who have given their all for us....
Whether these brave warriors walk the Elysian Fields or are gathered in the halls of Valhalla may their souls rest in peace
My material grandfather was at Ypres & my paternal grandfather & his brothers served in the Ii. I admire you for doing this. Here's to them & those like them damn few left.
Thanks
Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. I am so blessed to be an American. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My eyes swell with tears of gratitude and thanks for these warriors who have given all to give me an amazing country to live in. May God bless their souls, and may we protect what they died for as it is up to us now.
This is heartbreakingly beautiful. Thanks guys, praying for y’all
there might be the American flag above them, but these people fell, for every peoples' freedom, thank you for that video.
Freedom isn’t free. Our brothers and sisters gave their lives so we can be free. Forever thankful for their sacrifice.
Freedom arent something that are mandatory but something you need to fight for.
Those men died fighting for that precious freedom.
“These things we do, that others may live” This may only be the motto of Pararescue, but it could not be more true for every serviceman and woman. They are out there every day fighting so we can have our lives and rights. All give some but some give all. Hooyah and Godspeed gentlemen.
Let us never forget, those who journeyed into the howling dark, and did not return. For their sacrifice required bravery, and courage beyond measure.
Technical Sergeant (retired) Rodney Naico, one of the best I ever rode a shift time with. AWACS and Security Police, GBNF!!!
Thank you for doing this. their names deserve to be shared.
Never ever forget, RIP to these great men and the thousands more that have sacrificed their lives protecting ours
Mat, you guys keep the flame burning for those who gave everything for our freedoms. From a fellow Army Vet, SALUTE 🫡 🇺🇸
Herbert Muchow, Army, Private First Class. Lived in Pittsburgh PA. Killed in action in WWII in Loraine, France 1944 at 20 years old. Volunteered to help defeat Nazi Germany. He is buried in France
Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. OOORAH
Take time for each of our fallen. They are missed but never forgotten. Keep on keepin on...
Oh damn, that last one hits different…
Many thanks to you all, we will never forget.
Lost my dad from the airforce when I was barely 3 years old, my grandfather was a ww2 veteran and Korean War vet...this is the day I remember both of them
I’m grateful for every American that fought and for every American that fought and died for our country. Bless you all
Maj Thomas Kennedy.
Killed 8 August 2012, Sarkowi, Afghanistan
PFC Benny Franklin.
Killed 28 July 2005, Cykla, Iraq
1LT Michael Runyan. US Army. ... this one hurt a lot to hear about.
I couldn't even watch it all the way through the first time. Really gets to you when you have served with men that are everything to you. Hoorah
soldiers never die, they only get new orders.... thank you for your sacrifice and for your service
Heavens guarded by finest group of men
We wouldn’t want anyone else looking out and watching over us.
Thank you I can't say I had the privilege to have met any of these men but I can't say from the bottom of my heart I am very grateful for men like them fearless warriors men that put themselves in harm's Way to protect their brothers to protect their freedom at home their families it takes a special kind of person
God bless you all and all our fallen brethren 🇺🇸
Your tributes are always touching and respectful.
Thank you for sharing. I will never forget.
Nor will we.
Thank You for your sacrifice and your service to our Country. We appreciate every day that we live free because of the bravery of others; we should honor that freedom by remembering those that gave their all. Say their names indeed.
Thank you Brothers for keeping their memories alive. SSgt USMC 1975 - 1985 Semper Fi
Honored to be among those that really care. We have to keep living for them.
I have no words, only love in my heart for my fellow vets. May Gods light shine brightest on those left behind, as we remember those who gave all.
