Happily, I have been doing cardio since that day, I started running and everything I can do without even spending a penny. Now I look younger, my skin is clear and I'm gaining that confidence that I have lost, now my belly fat is reducing. My biceps and triceps are building. I even watch your videos while working out. i was over weight all my life - at age of 25 - i weighted 100kg, a basic habit of walking one to two hours daily and avoiding over eating, in one and half years i was 68kgs. got comfortable and again gained weight in covid times, reached 80, now i have started my routine again, NO sugar, normal eating, walking an hour or two in a day, few basic physical exercises. Thank you for this video, i too believe, its possible to rewire our brain.

The game is psychological. This is so true. I moved to two meals a day (breakfast and diner) few months ago, and have been able to follow it since then by forming that as habit, and it really worked. Am able to better concentrate on work during office hours, moreover this automatically helped get rid of evening tea / coffee habit, which in turn helped in getting better sleep during night. I drink lemon - honey juice or tender coconut in evening if I feel hungry in-between. It looked impossible at one stage, but now I am so used to this routine that if I have to go for lunch some time due to any reason, it feels like torture.
I stay on the 9th floor & avoid using lift & use the staircase instead. Sometimes when the body is really tired to do so then i still go walking till the 3rd or 4th flr and then take the lift frm there. n Tell u it's a great feeling to do so. Hi Chetan sir ! As a psychology hons. student, I was taught about the concept of cognitive dissonance by Leon Festinger in class. One of it's applications is to make our thoughts strong enough so that our actions follow. Having a discrepancy between thoughts and actions causes a state of unrest in the mind. As a result, our mind tries to alter either to attain congruence. Like you said, when one has the image of "I've always been fat, that's my identity" the thoughts are strengthened and any action taken to counter that will be soon changed to fall in alignment to the thoughts. The basic idea is to make the thoughts strong enough to make our actions follow. One can start by thinking that I'm a healthy person or other such affirmations. Automatically the mind would move you to reflect that in your actions.
