I also forgot a whole bunch of stuff which I'll save for the next video. Thanks for bearing with me :). Below the new designs:

Welcome back Jacob, I have missed you. I love all of these patterns. I have already purchased Kartje Klaassens Boerema and I love it. I haven't started it yet because I am still looking at fabrics and floss. I do plan on purchasing others but not sure yet. Jacob, take care and Happy Stitching.

Such lovely stitching (and fair isle vest!). I love May with its verdant growth and sugar candy blossom, serenaded by the blackbird’s evensong so your music is just perfect! Thank you

So good to see you back Jacob! Loving the new charts. And hearing the carol at the end gives me Holiday Countdown vibes! Getting ready to go to Friesland for a longer stay and think I will put on of my MFE WIPs in my bag. 🪡 Enjoy the sunshine we have here in The Netherlands today.
I am currently stitching Never Laugh at Live Dragons for my daughter, who loves dragons. Thank you for a great design!
Thank you Michelle - that's so lovely to hear! I hope she'll love this little dragon :D ❤
New subscriber, I absolutely love your designs! I’m a huge fan of blackwork and red work. I enjoyed your storytelling of how you were inspired to make the designs. I don’t have stitch shops near me, but doing some traveling, and already scoped out the local shops! I will be ordering the pdf’s if I can’t find the hard copies. The song at the end was beautiful! Thank you for your love of stitching! It’s very inspiring!
Hi Victoria! Aw that's so wonderful to read - welcome, it's good having you here! Glad you enjoyed the video, hope you're having lovely travels! ❤
Hello, JacobI am so eager to start my little dragon, I'm actually picking up speed on the finish I'm determined to complete before, I start the other two projects. and now you've given us Queen of the May, which was an immediate must-stitch for me. And your song was beautiful.
Aw thank you Barbara - that makes me happy to read! Happy stitching and happy May! ❤

Love your microphone. Great song and samplers! Happy May!
Thank you Brenda! Glad you enjoyed the video. I had slightly wrong settings and the mic was ever so slightly clipping - next time I hopefully have the audio perfectly :)
So good to see you again. Beautiful new patterns. The cathedral in Cologne -- my daughter took me to see it when she was living in Germany, and I was in awe. It's a wonderful memory, and I'm glad to see it again here.
Thank you! It's great being back again :D. And yes, that cathedral is quite something!!! ❤
So good to see you!!
Thank you!!!
Welcome back Jacob. So pleased to see your new designs. I’ve finished a couple of yours and really enjoyed doing them. Thank you.

Good to see you again. I’m always tempted by your fabulous designs.
Thank you so much Susan, that's so nice to hear :) ❤
Hi Jacob, I enjoyed your video this evening. I like the Cologne Cathedral. I was lucky enough to visit it twice! Once in 1975 when it was under renovation and then again in 1987 when it looked even more stunning! Your new chart is lovely! I also love the Queen of May chart ( and of course, the melodic song you chose to sing at the end! 🎵🎶. 👏🏻👏🏻 Happy stitching and cheers! 🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦🥰
Thank you so much Marilyn! Glad you enjoyed the video and the song :). The Cathedral really is stunning indeed - on our first visit many years ago I climbed the tower. And as someone who has a mild fear of hights, going up the steps into that very open tower was not the greatest of things to do... so these days I keep my feet on the ground and just look around the cathedral itself :D ❤️
So good to see you again! I love the knowledge you share with us. Your new designs are beautiful and your song was amazing. I’m a very sheltered 69 year old lady who lives in Arkansas, but love hearing about other countries and learning about this big world we live in. I love the Queen of the May!:)
Aw thank you Joyce - I'm glad to read you're enjoying the video and liked the song!!!
Good to see you. Love your shirt. The samplers are awesome Thank you so inspiring.
Thank you so much! :)
So beautiful ❤ thank you for this video
Thank you so much - glad you enjoyed it! ❤
Love all the new designs - thank you for sharing
Thank you so much! ❤
So glad you’re back! Was so excited to see your video pop up. I’m loving your floral shirt. The samplers you found are beautiful & your new patterns are stunning!! I’ll be adding to my MFE collection ❤
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed the vide :). The shirt I picked up in India - there's a matching tie with it too! :P ❤
Oh Jacob……how lovely it was being with you again. Loved your designs, loved the mosaic tiles…
It reminded me of several Cathedral’s I visited whilst in Chile…. Especially in San Pedro , the ancient churches
Built in the desert were a Feast on my eyes…. To think of the painstaking task of these very talented Chilean Indians…
You always bring a feast to behold Jacob, I’m grateful ❤
And the song !! Oh be still my soul…. How lovely with your voice blending & bringing life to the song….
Love your voice
My birthday 🎉 is May 2 so I take this video as my gift from you ❤
Grazzie
Gods Blessing, Jacob upon you & your partner & family …..
Sharon 🇺🇸
Thank you Sharon! So glad to read you've enjoyed the video and the song! :) ❤️
Jacob is your music available to purchase & download. It’s so soothing to fall asleep with.
@@sharonannc.3079 Thank you Sharon! There's only one song right now, and there's an album of piano music - but not sure if either is good to fall asleep to! If you search for the artist name "In Praise of Shadows" you should find it. The album is called "IVY" and the song is called "Frozen Days". I'm planning on putting some songs out soon(ish) though! :)
Awesome Jacob…. Look forward to hearing more…
I’ll search for your songs.. ❤️🌹
So good to see you again, Jacob! Love the song, love your talk about the new releases 🌹 Please come back soon ❤️
Thank you Natalia, it's good to be back! Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and the song too :) ❤️
Missed you! I am so glad to hear you back and see all the lovely patterns. You singing is heavenly. Thank you for all the care in your work. God bless.
Thank you so much Rosalia! I'm glad to be back again. Glad you enjoyed the video and the song! ❤
Oh, this was delightful, esp. the song! The designs just made my heart glad! Thank you, Jacob!
Thank you Else-Maria! So good to hear :) ❤
Beautiful song and designs
Thank you so much Aura - glad you enjoyed it! ❤
Beautiful samplers! This is my first time visiting your channel. I have heard your name mentioned on many flosstubes!
Thank you - and welcome! Glad you enjoyed this one :) ❤
WOW, you have been busy. Thank you for all. Germany has many memories for me. Had an uncle in Cologne (Köln). I will definitely be stitching that one.
Thank you Hanna! It's a beautiful country - Cologne has some excellent museums as well! ❤️
Happy May. Lovely Dragon (less half devoured man). More patterns to put on my future stitching list - oh dear. Currently working on Peacock Tree.
Thank you so much - so nice to hear! :)
Oh my what a treat to see all these beautiful charts. Can't wait for future floss tubes. Love the carol ❤ Your music is amazing. So good to see you.
Thank you so much Susan - that's lovely to read! ❤️
Glad to see you back. Lovely new designs!
Thank you so much Leslie! :)
Hi Jacob, your new designs are spectacular. I have been busy stitching on AKGIT today, so I was so happy to see your newest video!
Thank you Melinda - that's so lovely to read! AKGIT is quite the beast too - I need to pick her up soon again...! :)
So nice to see you again!
You too!Thank you Kim! ❤️
What a treat to see all these beautiful new chart! But now the dilemma...which one to start with?! I love the Cologne Cathedral Mosaic! I would love to see a series from all the great cathedrals of Europe. But I also love the dragon, the Queen of the May and the Little Spring Sampler too. Sigh! What's a girl to do?!
Aw thank you Maria - that's lovely to read :D. Oh and it's tricky to choose what to stitch isn't it....! :) ❤️
So nice to see you again Jacob! Beautiful new charts. And your singing is heavenly as usual. Take care.
Aw thank you Joanne! ❤️
It’s good to see you again. I see I need to find a bigger wall in my house for red samplers! I stitched the Midsummer Sampler in with gray floss on white linen and it is my favorite of everything I have stitched. The Zimmerman coverlet is a close 2nd. Red silk 1 over 1 on white linen.
Thank you! Oh I love that idea - I'm thinking of making a red-and-black sampler wall as those are the two that I tend to stitch the most... perhaps one wall red, one wall black. Now to find walls... ❤️
Love your designs
Thank you Lynne! ❤
Thanks Jacob for new designs.
Thank you!!! :)
I really appreciate the history behind your designs.
Thank you so much - that makes me happy to read!
You were missed. What a lovely video and l can’t wait to start Queen of the May! Happy May!
Thank you so much - it's been too long and happy to be back! :)
Just wonderful. Thank you. ❤❤❤😊
Thank you! ❤️
I am so excited with your new patterns and particularly that you offer some that are quite large and some more manageable. I have missed seeing you on UA-cam, so thank you for doing this one.
Thank you Karen - I've missed being here - it's good to be finally back again. Already excited to start recording the next video! :) ❤️
Thank you for the fantastic visit. So much to think of stitching.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Immediately had to watch your video. Loved seeing your new patterns and the antique samplers.
Can't wait for another video.
Thanks for gifting us with a song. Have a great week!
Thank you! I'm glad to be back and excited to record the next one soon! ❤️
So good to see you again! I love your shirt! It looks like one of your amazing patterns.
Aw thank you Kate! I picked this one up on our last visit to India - it comes with a matching tie! ❤️
Jacob is back!! I immediately put down Charlotte Ramsay to watch with full attentiveness 🤓 I’ve been studying "hold onto your socks" because I really want to make some socks with that sampler. Thank you for another informative video. I also had a chuckle at the relief print of the man hanging out of the dragon’s mouth 🙊 can’t wait for the next one! Happy May to you
L
Thank you Carmen! It's good to be back - and yes, that dragon is quite silly looking! But I love him for it :P. I'm actually knitting my first pair of socks (well - stockings really...) and once I've done the stitching, I'm going to stitch the pattern on top of the stocking. Haven't decided yet which one I'm going to do - this one or a different clox motif... :D ❤️
@@ModernFolkEmbroidery we’ll have matching socks 🧦 woohoo 🥳
Welcome back Jacob! You’ve been missed. I love your new designs. Thank you for your beautiful song. I’ve had a few rough days and the song really lifted my spirits. Off to listen again. ❤
Thank you Teal - sorry to hear you've had some rough days... do take care! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much Melanie - it's good to be back at making videos :D. Glad you enjoyed this one! ❤️
I love all your designs.
Aw thank you - that's really nice to read Sheila! ❤️
Love the new releases and the song! Thanks for letting us know how shops can get your patterns. A shop just opened up 45 minutes away from me so I let them know how to get your patterns. I'll be getting the dragon pattern from them hopefully.
Thank you so much Maryann! That really helps - not just me, but any designer out there. ❤️

You’re a very interesting chap I like hearing about your research . Are you interested in Hardanger and pulled threadwork at all?
What was the music at the end of your flosstube please?
That's a song I arranged and recorded called "The Cambridgeshire Carol" :)
I was very disappointed to see that you have politicized your designs. I am referring to your post on instagram featuring your Palestinian project. I cross stitch to enjoy myself, to relax, etc. not to wade into the political landscape. Therefore, I am unsubscribing.
I agree Carol, it shouldn't be political to oppose a genocide, or racism, or to support LGBTQ+ or women's rights. These should be things that should be about morals. Sadly our politicians have weaponised them and made them political. And as my designs have always made a stance on such points (BLM, Pride, Women's Rights, opposing any war or form of violence), they have always been political.
I find it interesting that certain political parties are happily telling women that they cannot have abortions, for instance - as all life is sacred. Those same politicians are then happily openly supporting the bombing and shooting of innocent men and women and children - who now have died by the tens of thousands. Are they not humans too? Is their life not sacred? Tell me - what did the tens of thousands of children who are being murdered by the Israeli army do to make their lives less sacred? I am genuinely interested in your thoughts on this.
