Вікторія Довгадзе працює з образом людського тіла та різними проявами його репрезентації, з темами поезії, сновидінь та горору. У своїх фото- та відеороботах Вікторія Довгадзе використовує авторські методи, що полягають у акциденціх, фрагментарності, реверсивності й деструкції.
В інсталяції «Поміж страхом та бажанням» (2022) Вікторія Довгадзе досліджує внутрішній світ кількох персонажів. Це архетипні образи, чиї керовані ненавистю тіла отримують задоволення і стають одночасно об’єктами публічного покарання і підсвідомого бажання. Мисткиня створює візуальне дослідження межі між уявою та дійсністю, демонструючи, наскільки розмитою ця межа стає у царині підсвідомого.

Viktoriia Dovhadze works with the image of the human body and various displays of its representation, with the themes of poetry, dreams, and horror. In her photographic and video works, Viлtoriia Dovhadze uses her own methods, which include accidents, fragmentation, reversal, and destruction.
In the installation Between Fear and Desire (2022), Viktoriia Dovhadze explores the inner world of several characters. These are archetypal images whose hate-driven bodies enjoy pleasure and become objects of both public punishment and subconscious desire. Her work is a visual exploration of the boundary between imagination and reality. The artist demonstrates how blurred this boundary becomes in the realm of the subconscious.
