※一次審査は通過しましたが、二次審査は通過できませんでした（；＿；）
テクニックよりもグルーヴ重視。
そしてあくまで『バンドの一員のドラマーとして、楽曲の魅力を最大限に引き出す』プレイを心がけました。
全てのフレーズや構成はよよかが自分で考えたものです。
今回、気合いが入りまくって、練習を沢山し過ぎて手には豆、皮も剥ける始末。。。
よく見ると、この動画でも手の絆創膏が最後の方で飛んでいってます笑
まだまだ甘いところばかりですが、ご覧頂けたら嬉しいです。

《ドラマー“よよか”プロフィール》
2009年10月生まれ。2歳からおもちゃ代わりにドラムを始め、4歳からライブ活動を始める。
5歳で 『かねあいよよか』を結成、幼稚園在籍中の6歳でファーストCDを発売。
作詞作曲、ボーカル、ピアノも担当。ライブやイベントなどこれまでに100本以上のステージを経験。
国内外のテレビやラジオ、新聞や雑誌など各メディアで50回以上出演＆特集が組まれる。吉幾三やタカアンドトシ、COW COW、バービー、EXILE SHOKICHI、大泉洋など多数の芸能人やアーティストと共演。
菅沼孝三、川口千里、石若駿、安部潤、MAD大内など数々のプロミュージシャンともライブで共演。
2017年8月、『第2回 スーパーキッズパフォーマンスコンテスト』小学校低学年の部で優勝。
2018年6月、世界的な女性ドラマーのコンテスト『Hit Like A Girl 2018』の18歳以下の部にて、最年少の8歳でウイークリーチャンピオンとなる快挙を達成。
Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』をカヴァー演奏した応募動画は、アメリカのローリングストーン誌やビルボードで特集され、世界中に拡散。
Red Hot Chili Peppersのチャド・スミス、KISSのエリック・シンガー、Sonic Youthのキム・ゴードン、シェリル・クロウ、ショーン・レノンらから称賛される。
国内でも、矢野顕子、佐藤竹善、ハマ・オカモト、亀田誠治、ピエール中野らも驚きとともにSNSでよよかを紹介。
さらにLed Zeppelinのヴォーカリスト、ロバート・プラントもよよかの演奏動画を称賛。
2018年8月11日、国内最大級の野外ロックフェスティバル『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2018 in EZO』に史上最年少出演。オリジナル曲のほか、Char、奥田民生、KenKen、聡一郎（CROSS ROAD）をゲストに迎え、Led Zeppelinの『Good Times Bad Times』を演奏。
2018年9月11日、さいたまスーパーアリーナで開催された『第27回東京ガールズコレクション2018 AUTUMN/WINTER8』でドラム演奏を披露。3万人の観客を沸かせた。
2018年10月8日、札幌の道新ホールにてアマチュアとして異例の700名チケットソールドアウト。
2018年10月21日、東京ビックサイトで開催された国内最大の楽器総合イベント『2018楽器フェア』の『ベースの日×ドラムの日 楽器フェア50周年スペシャル』に出演。ベーシストの亀田誠治やドラマーのピエール中野、KOUHEI（4 Limited Szabys）と共演。
同11月29日、札幌のhitaruにてNHK「いまこそ、ひとつに、北海道ライブ」にアマチュアで唯一出演。細川たかし、大黒摩季、AKB48、Littele Glee Monster、SHISHAMO、大泉洋と共演。
大黒摩季のステージでは「ららら」のドラムで参加。
Pearl、VIC FIRTHと史上世界最年少エンドース契約。
Zildjian、CYMPAD、DWともエンドース契約。
"Yoyoka"の衝撃は今も世界へ広がり続けている。
好きなドラマーはジョン・ボーナム、ベニー・グレブ、クリス・コールマン、ネイトスミス、山木秀夫など。

今から思うと、才能を見いだせない時点でドラムコンテストとしては失敗だったな
I watched this many times and keep seeing new things in it. The band-aid comes loose at 2:03, then it flies off tens seconds later, as she enters full-blown beast mode. Things start going awry as her arms can't quite keep up with her spirit, but she's nailed it. She took that to another level and it shows in that incredible smile at the end....What a moment of triumph, captured on video for all of us to enjoy.
このコンテストの結果がどうだったのかは知らないけれど、いろんな人のを聴いてみて、やはりこのお嬢さんのが一番しっくりきます。
採点項目に「楽曲の理解度」というのがあれば、それは断トツぶっちぎりで一位じゃないでしょか。
この曲を「完成」させてるのはお嬢さんだと思います。

@@fairlife06 さん コンテストは音楽に限らず美術、工芸それぞれ狭い中での審査は師弟、縁者、等々偏るのは世の常で逆に無名の出展者の場合は良い作品でも必ず跳ねられるということはよくある話ですね。

約４年前ですか。
荒削りではあるけれどYOYOKAちゃんの特長が良く出ていますよね。概要欄にもあるようにあくまでも楽曲の良さを引き出すグルーヴ重視。しかも重い。
この時のコンテストの入賞動画がUA-camにいくつか上がっているので比べて見ると、評価基準が違うのね。ハイハイ。って感じですね。
この約1年後にGood times bad timesで世界から評価されることになるのですね。リズム&ドラム・マガジンさんは原石を自ら発掘するチャンスを逃してしまったわけですね。
蛇足ですが、1:31でシンバルをスティックでピタッとミュートしているところ、かっこいいです。

She's so nice :) it's fun for her, not like other kids, where their parents push them to do it, to be perfect. She can do it easily and her style is so enjoyed. Where other kids already on their limit, she still much space to become one of the best drummer one day. She makes me happy, fun to watch her playing. Very unique...

Here I am again, 9-12-2020, remembering that this video is where the little lady truly won me over. I saw several other videos which used this backing track, (some kind of contest from a drummer magazine, if memory serves), but to me Miss Yoyoka's interpretation won, no question. If she had any coaching, her coach was dang good, but of course the final production was all hers.
And how could you not love that face at the end, when she knew she made it through with no errors?

Oh, dear lord! I thought that I was impressed by Yoyoka's skills after watching her videos for most of the day but I now stand corrected. This young girl just shook me to the core with her talents and skills! Holy crap! Heavy metal, funk fusion, 80's arena rock... What's next? What ever this virtuoso chooses she has already won my respect and best wishes for her and her future! Keep on playing and having fun Yoyoka!

彼女のようなドラマーが後ろにいたら楽しい・たのもしい。。
元フロントがわ。。。
他の方もコメントしているように、叩き過ぎない「グルーヴ感」が心地良いです。
ただ、何しろ「ドラムコンテスト」なので、テクニックも含めた叩くことが重視された審査であるならば、グランプリには届かないかもしれません。
でも、それでも良いという気持ちで、あくまでも曲を大事にした演奏を貫いていただきたいと願いながら応援します。

For anyone wondering, this was an entry for a drum contest. UA-cam user Art Martial has a playlist of 23 entries. I watched pretty much all of them, and Yoyoka's submission is right up there. Her musical interpretation is what shines. Other entries are perhaps more technically challenging but do not suit the soundtrack anywhere near as well. Her ability to show musical restraint , even at this age , is demonstrated by the single (flam?) hit on the floor tom just after 1:18. What a talent!

Been watching a lot of drummers do renditions of this song. Have to say, out of all the ones i have seen, this is my favorite. So many of the versions just over do it to where it doesn’t complement the song. They actually distract from the song. Yoyoka’s version is simple yet it builds throughout the song. Adding elements to compliment the song. Really love her style of play.

Not a girl as becomes obvious as Yoyoka gets older. Could be fraternal twins which would account for them both doing teaching videos at age seven. The give away is they both play in the same room. The window with radiator below it and blue curtains. Also the purple baffle and blue fabric. Don't think many families would want 2 drummers. Why aren't they ever together. Their facial expressions after playing are virtually the same.

Dave Bellerose from what i can gather, it was a song from some drumming magazine. People were challenged to come up with their own drumming to it, thus all the different drumming versions of it. I can’t tell what the name of it is since it is in Japanese, but the number 16 is common amongst all of them. The previous year, the song had 15 in it. So it seams each year or couple times a year they put out a new song for drummers to drum to. Best I could come up with in regards to this song.

個人的な意見ですが、他のパートが引き立つように演奏し、全体を支えるのが真のドラマーだと思います。よよかちゃんのドラミングは正しくそれだと思います。他人の評価なんか気にせず、楽しく叩いて、我々音楽好きをもっともっとワクワクさせてください。
それですよね。コンテストだからドラムが前面に出るたたき方でよいのかもしれないけど、実際演奏される時は、やはりほかの楽器と共にバンドとして演奏する
事が多いと思いますし、であれば、曲が引き立つたたき方をするよよかさんの方が現場で活きるドラマーでありますよね。

I think the greqatest thing about these videos is not the amount of talent and hard work on display (which is great) but you can tell she's really having fun and enjoys playing.

一音一音の大切さ、重さ、グルーブ、音色、、、そのあたりを軸にすえ、今も毎日練習を重ねています。

The hardest working and hitting kid. She’s such a BOSS on the BASS drum. Adorable facial expressions and you can tell she was really into this piece. She gives me joy every time I watch her esp. the earlier ones coz she’s just so ‘pure’. It’s hard admit but I’m jealous of her parents. 🤷🏻♀️❤️🙂

Man she does a fantastic job. I can't believe she didn't win! Maybe they didn't want it quite so metal, they wanted a kid's sound, but Yoyoka sounds like an adult.
First off the second half of this track was sloppy and erratic. She didn't deserve to win. But as far as the track?? What are you talking about? The music was written to be metal, there were no parameters on what the percussionist could write on top of it..
"Kid's sound"? What does that even mean? That's ridiculous. Yoyoka was the youngest contestant in this thing, like she was every year she entered. Everyone else were much older teenagers and adults. Yoyoka might have won if she didn't get so sloppy toward the end, because in my opinion, she had the best percussive approach to the music.
But no one discriminated against her because of her age. It was a learning experience, that's all. You sound crazy right now.

Yeah, well contests aren't graded on "all fun", especially not this one. That's precisely why she lost and why it was a learning experience. It doesn't matter what YOU "think", it only matters what happened. She started strong and ended all over the place. that she was able to have fun then, when writing that drum part, is precisely why she's such a refined drummer now. Because she doesn't have to win EVERY CONTEST and she knows that and so do her parents. This loss and the one the year before that gave her growth and experience, which is what she needed then more than a "win".
And for the record, I have been actively following Yoyoka Soma as a drummer since I first came across her channel... when she was 6. You could say she's one of the people I take an extreme interest in as her skills and career continue to develop.
There's nothing deprecating about what I wrote. The difference between myself and sycophants like you, is that I'm not afraid to be honest and critical of someone I admire. Yoyoka is a much different drummer today than she was 6 years ago, but I promise you it's not because of people like you gassing her up no matter what, but rather because she is able to take honest criticism, understands when she could do better and then challenges herself to do exactly that.
