I thought the same thing at first but now we get 3 fatebounds per piece of gear instead of 2, legendaries effects give more build creativity now, and there's new fatebounds to help with the mana problem. Killing all the old builds wasn't cool though.

The update removed a lot of fatebound build creativity, and the mana regen does not even exist.😢
we have blue heal chip so no mana regen is not much of a problem but yes there are many changes this season

The new season indeed has a lot of new mechanics and changes but its been only a day so they probably have not applied all fixes and changes.
