Did you know you can manually program it for repeaters and tx on Ham frequencies
No, I didn't. Do I need to unlock the ham frequencies? I couldn't get it to tx on 146.52.
@@W6IWN_Radio 1 was able to program one of mine for a local commercial frequency in the 156.000 range and it worked for me.
Have you been able to program your with the OD Master app?
@kirkwalsh1932 Honestly, I never messed with the programming since it came preprogrammed. I've used ODmaster with other TidRadios.
@@W6IWN_Radio I've tried with the Bluetooth connected on the radio and with the BL-1 programmer without success. It wants to read the PMR radios with the 16CH and not the FRS with 22CH.

@@kirkwalsh1932 Yes, the M11 radio is divided into two types: 16CH PMR radio and 22CH FRS radio. If you use ODmaster programming, please choose the model corresponding to your M11 radio.

@t.texastimmy1022 It depends on the terrain. We were getting 1-2miles.
@@W6IWN_Radio I notice that there's a slightly more powerful model / the M8.
I assume that compatible but w/ better range?
@t.texastimmy1022 The maximum power out for FRS is 2Watts. They look pretty much the same. I haven't tried an M8, though.
