Hi Allan, my name is Paulo and I got the same scope and is a joy listening about the x sight and is a enormous help (at least 4 me), thank you. At least I learned a lot about something I didn't now about cos the scope atn is new for me to work with, I got different ones but still learning and you are a big help. Thanks
Howdy from Texas. Thank you for a very interesting series on the ATN scope. I have one on an AR that I built for my wife. I've learned a few things I didn't know about the optic by watching your series. I currently own many firearms but have ever owned an air rifle. I am very intrigued by yours and am curious what brand it is. It seems to be very accurate and your marksmanship is impressive. I assume that an air rifle at 25 yards would be comparable to a traditional firearm at 100. You completely obliterate the center of that target. It takes a good rifle, good optics, and a steady hand to make cosistantly accurate shots like that. Thanks for the videos and have a great day.
Part 6 and final part of the series is in the process of putting together all the good and bad points. Will try and get it recorded this week as a final conclusion. Been a bit busy with other things, but it is coming.
Great review series Steve. Question: How does the internal screen that you use as the eyepiece compare to the actual quality of the video? Is it 1:1 (i.e. the eye piece shows at the full quality that the video is recorded at) or is the monitor that acts as the eyepiece a lower resolution than the HD video that the sensor takes? Thanks.
David Carrico hard to say as it is so small. but if o had to answer, what you see in the video is what you see in the eyepiece and scope recordings. pixelated at zoom as only a 2.1mp ccd.
Great vid Steve your vids are very heloful ,i appreciate all the work you have put in. any chance of you doing ahunting vid with the X-sight??!!! ,atb brian
Pigeon was "13 inches" away? In the US that amounts to 1 foot plus an "inch". What does an "inch" represent in your part of the world if converted to yards and/or feet?
Have you tried a more powerful IR? Wondering what the distance you can see? It would be good to see targets at night out to like 300m. I am seriously thinking about getting one just to test the waters.
Yes, swap out the free IR torch for a better one and you can see much further out. Check the other videos in the series on this ATN scope and I think I explain it in them. Thanks :)
Have enjoyed watching ur vids but u are comparing optical zoom vs digital zoom. Surely u weren’t surprised that u loose quality as u zoom. Since mobile phone had cameras we all knew digital zoom is abit pants. Now if they released one with a optical zoom. That would be good but the price would be Uber high. Keep making the videos.

Not what you mean, the text at bottom says 30m and I said the pigeon was 30m away at about 8mins in the video
. Perhaps my accent
Thans. I expected you may have meant meters. :)
Thanks Steve. What about battery life?
Yup as Wm Napier says, batteries suck, you need external USB battery pack with this scope.

No i was not surprised, but I was surprised at how bad it was and how slow the processing is.
