Both hindi and urdu descend from sanskrit which developed into suraseni prakrit, which then mixed with persian to form hindustani. Then Urdu and Hindi developed from hindustani with hindi leaning more towards the sanskrit aspect and Urdu more intensively leaning towards persian

What followed was the development of indo-islamic culture and the subsequent renaissance during the heydey of the Delhi Sultanate. It is in this time that we have the developement of Hindustani Classical Music and dance forms like Kathak.

And about Kathak it is way old, it's reference in Nātya shāstra can be found, and bout development I haven't read something like that, I'll try to read bout it. Subhan Allah Bahut khub - This kalam is composed in 2 great languages - very rarely we found this type of kalam. Bahut Khub Amir Khusra is the only can do this - He is still alive in Indian Culture and Sufi thoughts
Now, I understand why Amir Khusro was called the "father of Urdu literature". He wrote these great poems, such as Zihaal-e-Miskin, by combining the Persian and Old Hindi languages, which developed Urdu. He also founded the early tradition of "Hindavi" (lit. of Hind or India) for the Rekhta dialect (the ancestor of Standard Urdu). He is the pride of Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. 💖

Composed by none other than the Toot-e-Hind ("the parrot of India") - Amir Khusro. How could current generation forget the very fact that the whole genre of music, poetries, as we know it today, our very lifestyle has its roots with his contributions -> qawwali, ghazals, sher shayari, shastra sangeet, calling for schools, with at least 2 of the very foundational ragas associated to him - Khamas and Yaman. Both hindi and urdu descend from sanskrit which developed into suraseni prakrit, which then mixed with persian to form hindustani. Then Urdu and Hindi developed from hindustani with hindi leaning more towards the sanskrit aspect and Urdu more intensively leaning towards persian

Urdu- aaiye tasrif rakhiye.
Urdu has very similar or same क्रिया(verb) like Hindi.

@@harshbhardwaj3170 i mean they are different in the modern usage due to 100s of years of separate linguistic developement but they share a common linguistic ancestor in Hindvi formed by the merging of local dialects of prakrit and persian. What followed was the development of indo-islamic culture and the subsequent renaissance during the heydey of the Delhi Sultanate. It is in this time that we have the developement of Hindustani Classical Music and dance forms like Kathak.

And about Kathak it is way old, it's reference in Nātya shāstra can be found, and bout development I haven't read something like that, I'll try to read bout it. Now Urdu is more Persianised and Arabised(idk these word exist😅).
