This is my favorite song from her. This song saved my life literally. I thought about ending it all. When I heard this song it brought me out of the deep dark place in my mind. I just recently had a Meet and Greet with her and told her my story. She said this was one of her best songs she ever wrote. Also another reason why this is my favorite song is because my favorite hymn is in this song towards end of it. Anytime she performs this song live I always wind up crying and praising Jesus.
I had no idea this song had been written, when I heard it, my mom had recently been diagnosed with ALS and I didn’t feel like I could go through that horrible disease BUT! My God could! ❤❤❤❤

Carrie wrote it with Chris DeStefano & Brett James about someone's life changed by baptism. Such a powerful song & Carrie is amazing as always. I think you need to hear a fun one from her for a change. LOL 'Before he cheats' , 'Cowboy Casanova', 'My last name', 'Undo it' & so many more. One of my favs by her is a song with Keith Urban called 'The Fighter' & I also love 'The Champion' with Ludacris. Must see official video on that one. Stellar stuff.
She has a Faith album too. And if you want to see her take on rock, she does Paradise city at the CMA fest and nails it. And to Cheryl, bravo for being willing to share your story. I totally empathize as I traveled the same road and was saved by God. We should be willing to be open and share because that will help to take away the stigma of mental illness. Again, thank you. Both of you. Remember, your mental ILLNESS does NOT define who you (I) are!

I heard this song years before getting baptized. And ever since I heard it I became interested in having that experience. I don't know if it's the power of suggestion or what, but when I got baptized my life truly changed. I felt that peace that you talk about.
Even though I was raised in the gospel since I was 5, I had never had a real relationship with God. It felt amazing, it felt more than just peace, it was like I had finally found a true purpose for my life. My spiritual hasn't been easy though. When we pass the Red Sea, I knew the desert was going to be on the other side, but I never expected it to be so so hard. Pray for me, please. I've been on and off in my relationship with God. But by faith I know that he will finish his work on me like Mandisa's song Unfinished says, I'm just unfinished and it's not the end.

I saw that incredible movie in the theater. First time I ever heard a movie audience break out in spontaneous applause as the credits rolled.
Carrie and Mike have a very strong faith based marriage that seems to sustain them. They have two handsome sons and yes she was pregnant with her oldest son in this video. I’m so happy for her precious boys as she has suffered through multiple miscarriages.
