One of my bike's is a 78 RM250C & l'd like nothing more than too find a PE250 motor & pipe to put in it for vintage cc racing , l rode one in the 70's & really liked the torque , l raced a 77 RM125 back then & when l sold it to fund a new 79 RM125 the buyer replaced the engine with a PE175 engine & had himself a really nice lite weight woods bike , l'm thinking of doing the same , replacing the RM hit (wheelspin) with PE torque(traction) for vintage cross country racing .

You could just go with a PE bottom end also. I hear that gives you a little bit of both. My PE250's top end is getting a little tired. I was thinking about trying an Rm cylinder to give it a little more on top

Yeah l just need to hustle up a PE engine which won't be so easy . l'll have to check bottom end case #'s since idk if every year PE 250 will bolt up in my 78 frame .

Been there...well not THERE, but I was in 2 AHRMA events many years ago. Never enough red arrows, are there. And who the hell has time to raise their eyes from the trail to look for the arrows. 🤣 I was on a 72 TS185. I have a PE400 that I've yet to finish up and ride, but my ARMHA days are over. Too many broken bones over the years and at 65, they break easier. I am amazed that you only have my one LIKE. I thought it was a great video. 👍
