I have a DJI Osmo and the pros are it has great stabilization. Cons are bulky and a little on the heavier side. Wanted to get a GoPro so thought I would try this first especially when kayaking, if I lose it then not a big deal👍🏼

Nice review, I've been tossing around the thought of getting a second camera especially for different angles from the kayak. But I didn't want to spend $600 on the new hero 10. Nice review, I'll definitely put this one to some consideration for a second. Thanks Crow!👍
Appreciate it Billy! For the price, a pretty good camera. Not sure how to get extra batteries though. It is a little different from the GoPro. But, mostly the same features. Ok for a backup camera to the GoPro. ✌️

Hey! Thanks for doing this as I started out with one of these - I still use it for camera B or C applications along with the GoPro. All the bits and pieces that come with it are phenomenal for the price! Take it from me as an owner, this really is good for the price. Would advise anybody looking for a cheap solution or their first action cam...GO FOR IT! Great video and keep up the cool work 👻👻

HOLY ACCESSORIES! Looks like a great camera and like that it comes with an extra battery and all the extra accessories. Pretty much buy one and done.

I have been looking for another good camera to buy for our videos but didn't want to have to take our a loan. LOL I am really impressed with all the accessories it has. Great review, brother! I've been mulling over possibly upgrading to a new camera for outdoors activities (mostly mountain biking or hiking, gear reviews etc), been using the same gopro hero 5 sessions (and phones I've had) for almost 5 years 😳🤣
The GoPro 9 has been awesome for me…once I started using a high speed SD card. I love having the front screen, finally GoPro did that on the 9. ✌️
@@ASTHECROWFLIESHIKING mine is a Sessions, so the only screen I have is my phone 🤦♂️🤣 The 3 big downfalls I've never liked on mine is no screen (you have to use the app on your phone to control it, sometimes it's a pain to get them to connect), no removable battery (when motovlogging I've had to stop to recharge it. Lots), and you have to use that stinking mic adapter to use a microphone. BUT, it's waterproof without a case, simple to use, 4K capable (but my pc isn't when i go to upload and edit, lol), and it's tiny...pros and cons I guess

Hi, Great review, seems like it has a lot more features that compare with go pro, I use a few different action cameras one being 4K it doesn't have half the features of this camera. Cheers Will.

We'd love to be your first guests!! :-) Hey have you considered signing up to Artlist or Epidemic Sound to upload your guitar tracks as a contributor? That'd be a great way to make a little extra $ doing something you love! As for the camera, that is pretty solid for the price. I can see the difference in the quality especially in the color and the slo-mo. But for $110 that is an awesome entry level option. Great job!
Appreciate it Mark! Yeah, I looked into Epidemic sound. I even asked John Kelley about it. He said it wasn’t worth it. But, I’m not sure. I went so far as to sign up, but, didn’t go through with it. If there was someone to talk to in person, I might understand it better. But, I just don’t quite understand all the rules and restrictions. Maybe someday. Yeah, this camera is definitely an entry level setup. It is good for a backup, or filming under water. For the price, you can’t beat it. Appreciate ya! Crow✌️

Does the EIS feature work with all speed settings? It seems mine doesn’t work on any of the settings at all. My video taken while walking at normal pace doesn’t come out anywhere like yours, it’s very shaky.

I don’t think it works on all settings. I gave mine to a viewer who needed it and wanted it for his channel. I don’t have it anymore. Sorry, I can’t remember. But, I think it just works on one of the settings maybe 30fps…can’t remember. Thanks for watching it. Crow✌️
Great video. I've thought about an action cam (also thought about a drone) but who am I going to show the videos too? I barely take time to take photos on my adventures. I don't have the desire to become a youtuber. ( I have considered posting a video or two, but no desire to become a content creator.)

I have two questions.
1) the audio of the videos heard through the cam speaker is very very low, almost none (on pc/cell is ok).
I recorded the videos without a case, both through the internal and external mic supplied.
Is this normal or is my cam faulty?
2) what's that little "rod" next to the power button?
It looks like a led but it never turns on.

I felt like the audio was not that great on it. I couldn’t get a external mic on it. I think that is normal. I don’t have the camera anymore. A subscriber asked me if they could have the camera because they were starting a UA-cam channel. So, I sent it to them. Sorry, I am not much help. But, I don’t have the camera anymore to check out the question about the “rod” next to the power button. Crow✌️

Nice review, doesn't seem to have quite the sharpness or depth of field of the more expensive devices, but it is less than 25% the price of the GoPro and DJI offerings. 👍
Very true. Yeah, the quality of the picture is not as good as GoPro. I would see it more of a camera for someone just getting into videoing, or a backup to the GoPro
Does this camera have the same connection parts to connect to a go pro helmet attachment?
I’m sorry Justin. I don’t have the camera anymore. A viewer of my channel asked if they could have the camera because they wanted to start a UA-cam channel. So, I gave it to him. But, my best recollection is that it does have the same connections. Thanks for watching. Crow✌️

It is okay. I would see it more of a backup to a GoPro, or a great price for someone getting into filming and doesn't want to spend the money for a GoPro. Those GoPros can get expensive. This is 25% of the price.

This is identical to the Campari x40 even uses the same app on my phone .it keep freezing up and the videos wouldn’t play make sure you get a high speed card if you buy this
Good point! Yeah, even with my GoPro, I have to use the extreme pro high speed SD cards. I have had errors with the other SDcards.
Also the memory card is difficult to install

Seems a good camera having dual screen. Expensive gopro. I’m using my iPhone to capture video. No budget for action camera.
Yeah, this is a fraction of the price…but, you do lose a little quality in the video and microphone. However, it is a good entry level quality for someone who wants to try an action camera…without dropping a bunch of cash. Appreciate ya! Crow✌️

I would recommend a mic. This is a gopro knock off. It is less expensive, but, it does have draw backs. I think it is worth it for what you get.
I have two. Both are way over-saturated.
As far as the resolution? I would agree. ✌️
